I have had this dilemma for the longest time. I am note sure if this belongs in the Religion forum. But anyways…here’s my question. When we are doing it (you know what I mean) are we supposed to be all coverd up? Meaning, are we supposed to be under the sheets or have the lights off so you can’t see each other? Or can we “just do it” without any formalities?
What is the Islamic point of view on this? I know from hadees that guys can undress in front of their women, but does the same apply for women?
its depends how much both of you are into it.. whatever the case may be make sure to give full respect to your other half... turn the lights low or cover up, do whatever is comfortable to both of you.

R U married or what? when you get married, then do it whatever way you like with consent from your hubby, its a intimate relationship, nothing has to be islamized about it
if maulvees had their way with it. fornication would be allowed only from different rooms through some remote 'extenders'..
quit thinking about such trivial details.. religion is not so frivilous as to dictate natural behaviour.. those who wish to oppress conjure up these 'hadees' which will have you treating your wife like your sister.

Sex is Sex is Sex is Sex. There are no rules, you just need to be into it you know. If your feelin’ it, do it however you want to.
I am not talking about sexual positions and no there are no regulations except on anal sex which is strictly forbidden.

Anyway, being under the sheets with the lights out seems to imply a bit of shame. Maybe if she's a little embarrassed it might be OK... I'm not sure, that's my veiw of it.
