true love is unconditional love. It doesn't have to be just for that someone-special. The love you have for you mum,dad, brother n sister is also unconditional love because no matter how much their horrible to you, you'll always love them. :)

yea but i think it would depend on the parents and the child, if a child ends up being like hitler and burns thousands in gas chambers i don't think i would have unconditional love for that person even if he/she was my child.
I thought about it and would see that this child of mine that i brought into this world, my own blood, has caused pain to so many helpless people forcing them to burn themselves, i would ask for that hilter child's death myself.
i would feel partly responsible for it

Good point. Also, you hear lots of stories where parents killed their own kids and some kids killed their parents so yeah it's not always the case.

a purehearted soldier can have unconditional love for his country...........probably one-sided unconditional love b/c he/she would give up an arm and a leg for their country and would feel nothing but love and patriotism even after losing that. unconditional love is blind love

But you would still have love for your child...... despite all that he has done, the love will not turn into hate.
