Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

So faris, are you into honor killings?

Woah Faris! Violent, much?

OP, don't worry too much about other people's actions if they're not directly effecting you. Live and let live.

Personally, I wouldn't dance suggestively in front of random men but hey different strokes for different folks.

There is a lot wrong with it. You are not supposed to speak, let alone look at a na-mehram unless it is a necessity, such as financial transactions, legal matters, ect. You can however greet eachother, but the greeting cannot contain any action, body language, or sense of desire. Islamically you are not premitted to interact with your husband's brother or your wife's sister? These restrictions have been placed for a reason.

You can say that these girls are deprieved of male interaction, but if they are sitting around freak dancing, I can say they know what's going on in the world, and they know what's up. Whose to say that they wouldn't go further than talking if they were able to sit down and speak with them without supervision.

The whole dancing to music situation is another story. Once again music and dancing is not permitted especially if it contains sexual references.

I completely understand your point of view, but these things usually lead to trouble thats why they are forbidden.

sexual references, music and dancing??????????????????????

what is this world coming to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

I absolutely did not had any girly dance on my baraat, MIXED mehendi, mayoun or on valima

I hate gals dancing, as if u r watching a mujra or theatre!!!!! (no offense thou)

haan, Boys and my hubby danced all the night till 4am in morning on all the days :)

I agree .. except ..am not as trianed as you where i d shoot 300 yards away .. but rather hire someone ..like you :@:
but to be honest .. dancing to music ...is a bad start anyways ..as i have experience in this where it began from dancing to ..fight .. to shootings then to a pakistani jail for two nights .. so in a muslim family .. the dancing shouldnt happen anyways to begin with ..

well said .. and someone above also said .. guys danced all night .. for goodness sake .. dancing and music is not permitted universally ..its just not a restriction on female but the male too ..

however, if gurls and boys are all underage ..then its a different sittuation .. bt clearly we re talking about 18+ year olds .. who knw what one thing can lead to another ..

So you don't mind a He-mujra. How sexist is that.

well it would nt be if its a homosexual wedding :p

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

A he-mujra in a homosexual wedding - now that is an interesting idea :hehe:

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

Yeah your right. I have nothing against dancing… girls can dance among girls and boys can dance among boys and a husband and wife can dance among themselves and a warrior can dance for death…

But this sort of dance like between young boys and girls or by girls for boys and the such is just disgusting and totally unacceptable.

Someone mentioned honour killings and yes… i suppose i support honour killings that are legitimately justified… thats just the way i am… I would gladly behead a dishonest Mulsim too rather than an honest Jew… even if an honest Jew is a rare thing these days.

In the name of Islam and when a dishonest Muslim is in Question I agree with you 100% .. as you may have heard of the even which took in the time of the Prophet SAW .. where a Jew and a Muslim came to the Prophet SAW regarding an issue over land .. the Prophet SAW gave his answer in light of Justice and what was right in favour of the jew as the Prophet SAw even for non muslims was saadiq ul ameen .. the muslim protested and didnt agree with the decision of the Prophet SAW.. so the muslim went for second option and went to ask Hazrat Umar RA and as we know Hazrat Umar is one of the most feared companion in history even till today his name lifes even in the lives of non muslims .. they asked for a decision and Hazrat umar too was in favour of the jew because thas what justice is .. the muslim weasnt happpy and Hazrat umar asked if your not happy then Go to the Prophet SAW.. as this point the muslim told that we already been to Prophet SAW.. and at this point .. the loyalty of the muslim was in question and hazrat umar went inside .. got his sword and took the muslims head off and told that if a muslim can not accept which the Prophet SAW has ordered or madde a decision about then he does not deserve to be alive.

^^ sorry for the long post but this was just an insight to your view on dishonest muslim where if things got to a bad point ..where wud your loyalty / decision be.

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

^ I had that very same narrative in mind... Thats why i made the earlier post. These days people put less empashis on honour and culture and Religion but for me they come first... and anything in between that has it's own place which call me a biggot or whatever but i wont shift becuase those are my beliefs... and i am for whatever the Prophet of Islam and his sahaba stood for all else is irreleavant.

Hazrat Ummar Radi Allahu Anhu was truly great.

May Allah and his Rasool always be with us as we stand with them.

Ameen.

You have no idea...

if i saw a boy deliberatley walking amng everyone in such a manner i'd kill him too just the same. I have never allowed male fammily members to practice such behavior either.

My Sisters would never do such a thing becuase i am still alive as are my broters.

You have to understand decency is something all must abide by as well as modesty if my own brother was behaving inapropriately i would not hesitate to warn him not to do so... and if need be i would kill my own brother too. He would be no brother of mine if he stooped to such a level.

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

^ Thats just mental. It is neither the sunnah or the teachings of the prophet to go around killing 'indecently behaved' people at whim, whether they are you're family or not. There is nothing decent or honourable about it.

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

Shocking and horrifying to see such talk. Killing family members??? Life is cheap to some I guess.

Where in the Koran is this in any way justified? Or have you family killers just taken it upon yourselves to do Allah's job of judge, jury and executioner????

Re: Unacceptable behavior? Would you allow it?

dancing and all is not allowed in our family at ALL,, even not in weddings etc.. unless its just females around. but even then.. not the type of dancing that the OP explained..

Erm...are you saying that everyone should abide by decency after just saying you'd kill someone for practicing a behaviour that you deemed unacceptable? Now, do explain to me how killing someone is "decent" behaviour?

you two are sick.
