Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

Though there are various wonderful dialogues but this one caught my attention in 4th epi:

میرا دل بہت صاف ہے۔۔۔

اللہ سے محبت ہے، اسی لئے جب بھی اس کا نام لکھتی

ہوں تو کینوس پہ رنگوں کی جگہ میری محبت

بکھرتی ہے۔۔۔ رنگ تو بہت دیر میں آتے ہیں۔۔۔

Though I have read the novel almost more than one decade ago, but could not resist to buy it after its dramatization.. though there are few changes in the drama but still very touchy especially its OST.. wonderful story, nice direction, genuine acting by the lead artists, awesome dialogues which leave the viewer/reader remained in sad mode…

title:

dedication to some loved one of uma gee:

preface:

3 in 1 :):

1st page of the novel:

Now something abt the story and real life…

There are just 2 points, the whole story revolves around: (assuming everyone here knows the whole story already and there is no spoiler)

Though the writer has developed almost a realistic story but still its hard to digest that some religious lady can accuse her DIL falsely.. and the DIL is the one who is a girl like pure gold and can deliver wonderful examples of patience and forgiving!! That makes the viewer / reader stunned…

  • Can a man be enough miser, who cannot forgive his wife’s mistake for whom he offers to be tested by every way earlier on?
  • Can a man not trust his wife’s statement for whom he was claiming to be a real and true lover?
  • Can a man not judge his mother’s false accusations after examining her earlier behaviour towards her? (No, oaths on Quran were not the solutions)

۔۔۔ کیا شاہکار لکھھ مارا ہے۔۔۔

after all it’s just a story. real life is a lot more complicated and surprising. we just don’t always see all the complication and surprises of real life. if we really know about what some people goes through in life, these stories would be nothing compared to that.

sooo true

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

...so arfeen abbas started out with quite a lot of gray hair in the beginning, but by the 6th episode the whiter is gradually disappearing. or atleast that is how it looks like in that 3x4 inches of screen in vidpk.

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

uffffffffff 6th episode kitni achi thee. i specialy love the happy background music. the oldschool sweet kind.
magar yeh drama rula rula kay maar dalay ga seriously.

lol. i also had noticed the same thing :cb:

Re: Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

^lol

this epi was okay....i loved the saba mayoun scene...her acting was awesome in that scene when she came out thinking hes gone hahah. her screen presence was for a couple of moments but had a lot of impact =)

that decent romance between saba and arfeen is so heart touching specially knowing the will not end up together.

ok,but kuch logon ko ziada hi dil se pasand hai :) wesy song is very nice.

akhair ba-zouq loog hain

yeah their scenes are so sweet :)
I also noticed his hair was less gray on the dinner table hehe But he seemed okay post-hospital scenes

Did you all notice that Imran Abbas was wearing the SAME black & white striped sweater in this episode and the Malal episode on Friday? :D In Malal he's wearing it when he invites Zenia to have dinner at his place.

lol, no i didn't noticed that. but its funny, and coincident since one drama is made in new york and one is make in Karachi, and not even at the same time.

GOD, this drama is making me like faisal qureshi so much ♥ :D
