actually the main difference is director…mehreen ko pata hay k aik artist se kis tarah kam lena chayee thts why they r good in malal…Babar does’nt know anything he’s trying to ruin everything in this drama…

the story is going very slow :yawn:

What an awesome drama- I started watching it yesterday and saw all the episodes, upto 7th so far.

I'm even liking Imran Abbas in it who I'm normally not a fan of. Everyone else is so good and natural but sadly, Sarwat is ruining it with her wooden acting. She is so expressionless and emotionless- her dialogues have NO life or energy in them. I wish they had chosen a better actress to play such an important and main character.

I tried watching this online, but this is one of those dramas that I must watch on big screen t.v. So far, I think we are up to episode 4 on GEO USA? Oh man, really good drama.

I really don't like Faisal Qureshi, but he's a superb actor. The one who is playing his niece was in Ishq ke Inteha. She looks so different with straight hair. I love the main female lead ... she was in another drama just recently on GEO, also very good. She's a good actress.

and I absolutely LOVE the title song.

This play is a good sleeping pill. Its too slow. They have killed a beautifully written play.

Sarwat is a total miscast. I dont like her acting at all.

You know those scenes where she asks, 'mere abbu kaun the, ammi ko kaise miley' in that whiny, annoying tone of hers, it reminds me of kids when their parents are lost.. 'abbu kahan hain, ammi kahan hain'.

who ever mentioned that the difference between malaal and meri zaat zarra-e-benishan is the director is right. sarwat isn't doing so bad in malaal, actually she is doing quite fine for her role. but this whole entire drama (MZZBN) is actually ruined because o her.

do you guys feel sorry for arfeen? the more i am watching this drama the more i am kinda hating him, i didn't hate him when i was reading the novel but while watching the drama i get really mad at him, if he hadn't gotten nikkaed to saba she would have never gone through all that, she would have gotten married to a normal guy and lived a normal life. but arfeen ruined her life.
