Umera Ahmed's "Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishaan"

I am not a huge fan of the novel and this was one of her first novels I think so the immaturity (dare I say) shows. I do like the message the story provides and for that I do admire Umera very much.
I don’t think she has a great style of writing but there is something about her stories, for me it’s the message and the self analysis that they make me do while I’m reading a Peer-e-Kaamil or a Lahasil that makes me a mini-fan of hers

Oh ok that makes more sense that’s it is one of her earlier novels. I agree the story is very powerful, even if it is very predictable.

I haven’t read Lahasil or Peer-e-kamil but maybe I will
