I love this drama. The acting is superb and characters are 3 dimensional. Umera Ahmed highlights a very touchy subject : domestic abuse especially if the husband is rich. I wonder how many girls are told to put up with this crap Bc of worldy comforts. So far really good acting and portrayal of a vice in some families and households.
It's sad what sikandar is doing. I don't think he is a bad person, he just can't control his temper. He needs serious anger management. On the other hand, kiran also needs to learn how not to answer back. At breakfast she unnecessarily argues with her mil. Mil had a point, just forget things and be nice to arzoo's family. Kiran should know when to stop explaining herself. I think both are at fault

Have yet to watch the latest epi but I can see how Kiran can be annoying. I did not like Sikander from the beginning...there was a smugness/coldness to him from the get-go. Zaroon's character was flawed as well, but it had more charm...it was likable, it wasn't pheeka. Sikander is pheeka...he doesn't have a sense of humor or suave/smoothness/or wit...and the gift-giving is not enough to make up for the blandness.

Interesting episode it was. I liked the direction, acting and the way Umera Ahmed is conveying the basic message. :k:
Sikandar character has to to be pheeka to justify all the rudeness and stubborn nature.

khaer after viewing the last episode, kul raat wali, aik baat to confirm hai: lerki bichari jitni b sahi ho, usko upna ghar basanay k liye BOHUT KUCH bardaasht kerna parta hai. Aur lerka chahay jitna b ghatiya ho, ziddi ho, maarta peetta ho, zabaan chalata ho… us ki her cheez per parda dal jata hai..
typical maashra hai humara, aur story jo ye log dikha rahay haen bht sachi aur unfortunate hai

Somehow I liked how they showed the reaction of kirans mother. It was typical, but at the same time very sad.

I dont know who i should feel sorry for in this whole case. Yes domestic abuse is a abs no-no, a spouse should never abuse the better half physically or mentally.
In the last few episode, it was clear that sikandar has an anger management problem. He is one of those husbands who thinks its alright to lagao their wife in order to put her in her place. On the other hand there is kirans mum, like a typical desi, she doesnt want her daughter to come back home and sit there. And then there is kiran. I dont know what ro think about her. At first i felt sorry for her, but then she is so full of attitude .. Like in the last epi with his Mother and him at the breakfast. She looks at her husband for support, gets none and thus continue to argue with the mil. And in the car she doesnt understand why the husband didnt back her up against the mum jabke husband khud usse same taney deta hai?! Didnt get her logic. And in the latest episode, again, so much temper from kiran and sikandar. All i was thinking was like "omg Shut up kiran" seriously you already know the guy has a short temper and he gives a damn abt your family and siblings families... Just excuse to your sis, make some bahana and discuss with him when he is less annoyed .. Irk! Anyway not justifying sikandars behavior at all.

kiran's behaviour and attitude is not wrong from any angle. its the parents (kiran's and sikander's) and sikander who needs to change their attitude.
