umar sayeed's work looks great on print - have only ever seen two bridals irl and they were hideous.

nonameismyname : Really ? i have not seen personally his clothes. But they looks very nice, and i like the fact the embroidery are mostly very intricate and delicate. Which one did you see that make you feel so turned off ??

^ well the first one which was in three shades of pink - it was a full on joda like a typical umar sayeed, with a heavy shirt, an almost fishtail skirt and a heavy duppata ...

the work felt too much - it was OTT - it felt like it was embroidery on top of embroidery and then the embellishment! pheww its a lot of words...
and to pay so much for something like nooo wayyy... and you know the bride was so slim and smart and looked pretty too, and the joda and the work was drowning her down too much.

errrr i think it might be something similiar to what i had thought of gettin made from him sometime back. But at that time i had only seen a portrait picture. Where you could see from bust and upwards. And the girl was wearing this baby pinkish coloured kameez and dupatta.
The kameez was also fully embellished with a heavy borderes dupatta with motifs in the middle.
But it was apparently not a fish lehnga, and it was a monotoned outfit.
Butttt i havent seen the complete lehnga for myself, ive only seen half picture. And on the picture it looked nice!!
but the one i am referring to is something from his old collection.

Need pic of bride wearing Umar Sayeed Bridal

Hy im looking for a picture of an outfit posted a while back of a real bride wearing a umar sayeed bridal outfit. I have searched but I cant find it anywhere. In the original pic, the model is laying down on a low sofa with the lengha spread out on the floor. The lengha is ivory-baige with some flower work at the bottom of the lengha
