yeah this is very disturbing.....may allah bless him....during my graduate school i was roommate of an epileptic guy for over 8 months and know very well the implications as I needed to handle him post-seizure (whenever i happened to be around)....that guy had very serious seizure problems having at least 1 seizure once a week...once you have a seizure attack, you become so tried that you need to sleep for long hours.....i really hope umar does not have seizure problem and if he does it is a minor one.

May Allah grant him health and quick recovery. BTW he has been affected by this issue earlier as well

Wish him good health. One off seizure does not = epilepsy. But it needs to be investigated for sure

I am not sure what’s going on with his fitness, but to say the least, he is one of the best batsmen in the team. He is an asset and needs to be playing. And I don’t understand why he wasn’t picked for the test team.

I was surprised to see CENTCOM here and my first impression was that maybe umar akmal was droned after his "fainting experience" leading to him being "off the tour".

i think Umar Akmal has been squeezed out for some reason...he says he is fit to play and he'll bring the "facts" out in a news conference. let's see what those "facts" are! ... wish him well if the news about his seizure [epilepsy] is true.

umar akmal is acting like an idiot.... declaring himself completely fit as soon as he arrived lahore...board is upset and asked him to be shut up or board will release his doctor report. apparently he is not fit for cricket matches and his MRI has shown him to be epileptic...source janh sports

deep sigh..as always another ugly episode...why cant we resolve issues without a drama.

A big blow if UA - the one entertaining batsman in the team - has confirmed epilepsy
