Ullu ka Patha

Someone asked me what it meant, and I seriously don’t know exactly what it means. I know ullu is an owl and the rest I m clueless

HELP!

Son of Ullu (owl)

urdu version (in not dictionary, but literal meanings) of ‘son of a witch’

:hoonh: if u dunno what i just said.. then i guess u opened the thread right (atleast)

:roman:

What does a witch have to do with an owl?

kis ullu kay pathay nay poocha tum say?

patha translates to muscle....so it would be owl's muscle.

I think patha stands for student.... so there you have it folks: ullu ka pahta.

Guys, make up your mind and tell me what it really means!

Son of ullu? (may be)
son of a witch? (may be)
owl's muscle? (no way)
ullu ka student? (no way)

FG, your definition would be highly appreciated :)

Well, here’s a serious answer.

Ullu ka Patha’s literal meanings are = Owl’s muscle

Since ullu is stupid and doesn’t do anything, that’s why people call that type of person “Ullu ka patha”. Why Ullu ka patha? Just like some people refer to their sons as their “right hand”. Now we know that sons are not literally the right hand of a person, but the meaning translates into that. Just like that, Ullu ka patha means Son of an owl (good for nothing person).

:halo:

According to a friend of mine, 'patha' is a Punjabi word. Hence, 'ullu ka patha' = son of owl.

all the king’s horses and all the king’s men. .. it translates into ullu ka patha in the end… so baah.. :k: big deal

well yes, it could be used as a son of an owl..
but i,ll try and explain.......

here in the context of ullu ka patha,,,
it means ullu's pupil,,, and by ullu here, they mean dumb (even though in the gora culture owls an intelligent wise bird of the night).

so it basically mean ur an owls pupil/student... and ullu being dumb,, ur a stupid idiot too :p

ullu's patha means someone taught by an ullu (fool).

Why is this in H & R?

I think it means son of ullu .. :-s hmmm i am not sure .

kyon itna confuse ho rahay ho logo ?

ulu key pathey ka nahi pata na
how about

ULU KI DUM ?

simple n effective :P
