Re: Uk people?! Help

Nooo .. I have that one (since i made that thread too) .. its not effective enough

Re: Uk people?! Help

why not use the simple ‘cone’ idea , this seems more work.. :hmmm:

Re: Uk people?! Help

because this one is effective... cone idea takes time

Re: Uk people?! Help

found it :D Cake marker .. though with 8 pieces

Re: Uk people?! Help

They've invented samosa makers? :( Sad times.

Handmade samosay, sitting with your WHOLE family, with everyone having a job to do is THE only way to make samosay.

Making them on your own is painfully long, especially when you have loads to make, but I would miss the samosa parties if I had to use a machine :(

Re: Uk people?! Help

It sucks.... We have it...samosay open up when fried :(

Fork and hand pressure are the way to go :D

Re: Uk people?! Help

^arrrggghh..

well I just realised it wasnt the exact same .. blah .. seems like I've to set off a whole sunday

Re: Uk people?! Help

I believe you.

But it sucks when you have to make them all alone .. :(

Re: Uk people?! Help

I've had to make them alone too (sucks big time) and it took me about 4 hours to make 70 ...it's long and painful, but they taste yummy and a samosa isnt worth eating if its not yummy.

Re: Uk people?! Help

^can you share the recipe with us please?? :D @Milly

Re: Uk people?! Help

^ Once upon a long time ago I posted step by step instructions and reciepe in my blog. Entry has been deleted but I should have pics somewhere on my laptop though. When I have more time (sorries) I will do a search and PM you them. I have the short term memory of a fish though, so PM me in about a week just to remind us.

Re: Uk people?! Help

my mom used to have this when i was younger, only it was a square shape. it was awesome!

for the life of me, cant find it anywhere now!

Re: Uk people?! Help

Thanks Milly! I'll remind you for sure! I'm mainly interested in potato samosas, those are my fav!

Re: Uk people?! Help

if it is Keema mix then I make rolls, so much quicker with the spring roll sheets ..

Re: Uk people?! Help

When I make my big batch of samosas to freeze before Ramadan every year, I use the ready made square, wonton/pastry sheets that come in individual squares...make it sooo easy!

Re: Uk people?! Help

:(

I had a look though all 3 of my email accounts. I searched everything...cannit find the pics. Im so annoyed cos it was literally step by step.

Most ppl I know use small wonton wrappers, spring roller wrappers or puff pastry sheets to make samosas. my mom used to make her own dough for samosas ages ago then she discovered modern convenience.

Reminds me of the roti maker. I had one a while back....but discovered that the best roti is handmade.
