Well sometimes Im hearing KFC is fine to eat then I hear its haram (again 
) and tht they don’t meet the correct regulations. and are Mcdonalds chips really fried in pig fat?

Yes so most people just say "bismillah" and eat it thts not right. From what I remember With KFC they said it was halal but they electrocuted the chickens first (giving it great pain which is forbidden) and then when the chickens where half dead they would make a person do the dua and then the chickens where slaughtered by machine. what I wanted to ask was, does anyone know if situations have improved or are they still the same?

ooo that doesn’t sound halal to me . And yes, the fries are made in oil containing animal fat. We found that out ourselves, at least here in the US.

i know of only one KFC tht's really halal in uk...mcdonald's HARAAMno doubt about that.

when you shoot a deer or a bird and they are dying and you do zabeeha it does not make the meat haram and niether does when you electrocute and slaughter before the animal is dead.
now if how an animal is treated makes it halal or haram then I am afraid you should not be eating any meat because the conditions in which majority of animals are kept are pretty bad.

According to the last time I read McDonalds website in the UK, their fries were fried in vegetable oil and filtered first every night so they should be suitable for vegetarians. If you read the back of a mcD's tray liner, you will see a list of products they sell and their suitability for vegetarians.

surah al-Maida 5:3: forbidden is an animal tht has been killed by strangling or by a violent blow
KFC chicken is stunned and according to Shariah is still impermissible as the possibility for death before slaughter remains however one of the conditions of slaughtering an animal is tht it should not incur excess or unnecessary pain. electrocuting chickens is Pain and I would of thought shooting birds or deers would b the same?

CE .. i had been eating kfc, mc donalds burger king the lot for 3 years .. i got so used to it .. BUT that was in Egypt .. so when i came back here .. i tried to find a halal place to fulfill what i urged for 3 years lol .. i cudnt find a halal kfc mcdonalds or anything.. although i have recently heard that there is halal kfc opened here in my own town derby .. but i have yet to go and find out .. so if i do .. i ll let ya know :)
but to my knowledge .. atleast no in the midlands there arnt any halal kfc or mcdonalds etc.. tough luck ..

Why eat fast food yaar! Brothers and sisters, i’d rather chew a stone than visit either Mc Donalds or KFC, we have both in our town and you can smell em from a mile away. Thats why i stay well away and bought a house on a hill 
I might be a mechanic and live a busy modern lifestyle but i’ll be damned if i eat any meat i havent slaughtered myslef, that reminds me i can get bateraay ka gosht much cheaper… just buy the live quails :k:
Dude, no one cares about chicken abuse or the rotten beef or the artificial aromas or what’s on their fries which makes them out-last you. LOL Because, nothing like freshly fried french fries when you’re out and about starving.

fbi there's plenty of Halal KFC's in London thts not the problem its just knowing if they actually meet the HFA requirements. and I know what u mean eating KFC in pakistan was just soo delicious and then I had to come back and stick to filet-o-fishes.
