Milan ManU match was a fantastic fantastic match. Kaka, Rooney Ronaldo all young players were absolutely sublime. Milan will benefit with these away goals but you just cannot rule ManU out. What a match
By the way Chelsea just beat Liverpool 1-0 at stamford bridge to take this minor lead to Anfield.
For now another manu-chelsea final is on cards.

^Yeah, Milan vs Man U was a fantastic match. I felt Milan sort of sat on the lead after the half-time break. For a while, the match was beng played entirely in Milan's half. But there's really nothing in it going into the second leg.
Chelsea are a pretty well polished side. They will probably hold out at Anfield.
I tip: Chelsea vs Milan, but it could just as well be an All-English final.

Chelsea Liverpool match was tight with Liverpoo, winning on penalties.
So Chelsea win neither the PL or the UCL. Probably deserved one title.
Man U are favbourites going inot the second leg but I think Milan will pull a bit of a surprise. Whoever wins out of these two will probably be lifting the cup in Athens.

sorry chelski was not the better team, boring as anything, with a tactical plan to force a draw and win, and then got slapped around and could not react in time.
what a run for benitez and the reds in champiosn league the last few years though.
I am hoping for a manchester-liverpool final, that would be something.

What a mess.
Credit where it's due, Milan were by far the better side. Congrats to them. Milan completely outclassed United. I hope they don't lose to Liverpool now though So long as Liverpool don't win another Champions League I won't care. I love Gattuso. Just wish he was wearing a United shirt. He's a huge reason why Ronaldo was basically removed from the equation. He basically destroyed him. And when United made their comeback in the first leg, it was because Gattuso got injured. I'm envious of a destroying player in the midfield like that. We used to have a guy like that. But he coaches Sunderland now.
Kaka was again tremendous, and if there's one thing Ronaldo could learn from him, it's efficiency in his shooting. Kaka does not need many opportunities to score. Ronaldo needs too many.

Milano played great in this Match. Today, I was driving home and read on the Infocscreen @ the Underground Station Kaka saying "We will prevent a english final"...Milano did so...Awesome
Everyone played well. Pirlo, Seedorf, who scored the 2nd goal with a fantastic shot. He fooled 2 players and treshed the ball which was in the air behind Edwin Van der Sar. Seedorf is great. I love this player...He plays so well...
Gattuso is great. Maybe the Man of the Match. He plays with heart and devotion. Manchester couldn't do anything against the modern catenaccio...
The defense played solid. Everything was right, everything happened right on time...
I say Milano will win the Champions League Season 2006/2007. Any team can win in penalty-kick and Liverpool is not a challenge when you see how Milano dominated the Reds...

Chelsea Liverpool match was great but only for first twenty minutes. After that both teams sat back and only tried counterattacks. Penalties were a bonus. Chelsea deserved at least one of these titles PL or CL. Altho they did miss Shevchenko in secodn leg who scored some really important goals for them in CL this season. I Think thats going to be it for Maurinho and he will leave at the end of the season.
ManU were REALLY below par against Milan. I thought ManU had a chance in the second leg after a great first round match but Milan showed their tremendous experience in europe where they reach semifinal season after season.
Liverpool - Milan should be a great final yet again.

Champions League final - AC Milan v Liverpool
Liverpool and Ac Milan will be locking horns for the second time in the European champions league final today at the Olympic stadium in the Greek capital, Athens. Both teams know each other well having met in the epic Champions League final of 2005, which ended in a 3-3 draw. The English club had recovered from a 3-0 half-time deficit, and eventually won 3-2 on penalties.
However, so much water has gone under the bridge since then. Eight of AC Milan’s starting eleven that night; Dida, Cafu, Maldini, Nesta, Kaka, Pirlo, Gattuso and Seedorf - are still with the club, whereas Liverpool’s coach, Rafael Benitez got rid of Vladimir Smicer, Igor Biscan and Milan Baros, after winning the champions league in 2005, while penalty hero Jerzy Dudek has been sidelined by the arrival of Jose Reina and is set to leave the club with striker Robbie Fowler this summer.
Both clubs have lost three Champions League matches this season. Milan succumbed to AEK Athens, Lille and Manchester United, while Liverpool were defeated by Galatasaray, Barcelona and Chelsea. Both clubs entered the competition in the third qualifying round, and repeated history. The last two teams to reach the final coming from qualifying round were Liverpool in 2004-05 and AC Milan in 2002-03. The 2007 Champions League final will be the 58th match of the season for both clubs and both head coaches are going for their second triumph in the Champions Cup/Champions League.
AC Milan have played in 13 European finals, winning eight and losing five. In the Champions Cup/Champions League, they have played in 10 previous finals, winning six and losing four.
Liverpool have played in 10 European finals, winning eight and losing two. In the Champions Cup/Champions League, the Merseysiders have only lost once in six finals…

Milan won CL 2-1 after a pulsuating match and a very calculated performance.
Liverpool didnt play THAT well in the second half and Milan scored late through counter attack. Pool did pull one back but no istanbul heroics this time around :)
