USA is not gonna commit ground forces into Syria. They just withdrew out of Iraq and are getting out of Afghanistan.
Personally I don’t want USA or any Western Powers getting involved in Syria. Let the Syrians and Arabs sort this out.

I don't want them to do anything. USA and the West should not get involved in Syria. No missiles, no ground troops, no no fly zones, nothing.
If they get involved it will give the conspiracy mongers and people who hate the USA more ammunition that USA is invading another peaceful Muslim country.

This will be good both for Arab countries with vested interests, and for USA. American Tax Payers should not have to foot the bill for yet another intervention, when PetroDollar nations just sit idle counting their billions. Muslim countries should take control of the situation, and do the right thing for the region. USA should neither be for it, nor against it. Just stay neutral unless the situation poses a risk to U.S. directly in any way.

I am referring to what the OP posted article is saying, I don't want US to be involved either. I don't see any point in throwing a missile or two just to "threaten", if at all US should make UN take steps, push UN forces on the border and threaten strikes if the govt doesn't stop bombing its own people.

Russia (and China) won't allow any progress in the security council so forget any "UN forces" on any borders. It was NATO that acted under the general UN authority in Libya and that got Russia pissed.

As for my “problem reading” how can I read some link that has not yet presented to me. I did read a similar article in the WSJ abt Muslims helping their Christian neighbors. Of course they would. Not all Muslims are extremists.
I ask again - is it your positions that the Muslim brotherhood had no role in the attack on Coptic Christians? Will I get a straight and honest answer from you?

All going well according to script. US army General and NATO commander Wesley Clark foretold the script years back. Please folks, do not waste your time by bringing laws and regulations into it because the US will do as the US wish. As to details of what is taking place now, we shall read the details in the books of history some 20 to 30 years from now once all our resources have been drained and we are back in desert.

The US, UK, and French governments have not explained why it matters whether people in the wars initiated by the West are killed by explosives made of depleted uranium or with chemical agents or any other weapon. It was obvious from the beginning that Obama was setting up the Syrian government for attack. Obama demonized chemical weapons–but not nuclear “bunker busters” that the US might use on Iran. Then Obama drew a red line, saying that the use of chemical weapons by the Syrians was such a great crime that the West would be obliged to attack Syria. As for the situation, Obama might have acted earlier but he needs the asheerbad of the AIPAC and their allies with 'pubs breathing down his neck. There is no clear winner for israel as assad lets hezbollah resupply and a rebel win might just be a takeover of alqaeda like how mullahs took over and pushed aside liberals / communists in the iranian revolution in the past. At least with assad, there are no terrorist attacks against israel bar hezbollah and israel can go bomb at will any naughty syrian activity. Israel would of course be able to do that in a post-Assad syria as well but it would be like an unstable libya and would require more vigilence on israel's part.
