I am all for checks and balances

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

George 'the macaca' Allen leading Web by 2000+ votes. He must win. Who will Dems ridicule as a racist redneck from VA if he loses.

O supporters of GOP, go vote for the macaca-man!

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

Virgina is going under recount tommrow... but it looks like at the end of tonight the Dem, Webb, will be leading.

that leaves 2 seats needed....

the states in play:

Tenn
Montana
Missouri

Dems take 2 of those and they have total control of the senate.

Who knows.

The Democrat Tsunami did hit the House though.

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

the dems have the house :yahoo:

and it’s looking like they might get the senate too :yahoo:

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

Virgina
Montana
Missouri

At this point all look to be going Dem which would give the Dems a 51-49 advantage in the Senate. Welcome to a vastly different government.

A Shocking sweep in the House and an Awe inspiring takeover of state Governorships.

Karl Rove? Anyone home?

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

We already pretty much knew that republicans would win in California but we weren't expecting that much lead. Its so dissappointing.

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

Currently at about 11pm PST, Democrats are winning in all 3 states. In Virginia, the lead is only of 2700 votes but still, its a lead.

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

i'm afraid to say as it's still close enough to be very much up in the air

but i think we can do it

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

It's looking very strong.

Virginia lead has grown to over 11,000

Montana is coming up very soon, Dems are leading, if they win that game over Dems Sweep, and take over Congress.

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

who's left? montana and virginia?

well according to yahoo, virginia's collected 100% of the precincts and are in the lead 50%-49%

and montana is only ay 74% precincts with a 50%-48% lead

so that means we're banking on MT right??

Re: U.S. Elections: November 7th, 2006

we have a house majority, we have a gubernatorial majority, now let’s get a senate majority!! :yahoo:
