Re: U.S.A

USA sounds like a lovely place with great people but I can’t say the same for its leaders and their foreign policies.

America doesn’t seemed to be shackled by the racial heritage bullcrap like Britain is, the culture is so much ‘modern’ over there and I love the way anyone with an American nationality, who speaks English and lives there is considered American regardless of their race, previous ethnicities or nationalities because near enough everyone is a ‘recent’ migrant.

In Britain however you’re considered an outsider by the local people unless you’re white, if you’re white it’s okay even if you’re granddad was a Nazi Deutschman or a Polish Jew but you’re accepted whereas brown people don’t stand a chance, we’ll get the odd person who accepts us as British due to our citizenship and being born here but to most of them we’re foreigners and that’s a really very demeaning feeling (one of the main reasons I’m leaving for Pakistan ASAP), it’s the reason I juggle around two national identities and call myself multicultural even though my Pakistani identity isn’t of any relevance here but I carry it with me because it’s something to fall back on.

Re: U.S.A

awww .. you made it Pakora Bhai!!! Please do take the time to visit our cheaper neighbours to the north (i.e. Canada) They tax themselves by the neck.

Re: U.S.A

Re: U.S.A

Fraudia: Why not I come to california and you can treat me to a chic restaurant every night :chusni:

Ahmadjee shukriya, atleast the weather is like canada , its been snowing the whole evening.

Re: U.S.A

A few more observations: Mall of America is Huge but lacks the finesse, USA sells the best hot dogs, I have been eating hot dogs for breakfast lunch and dinner. Smokers are condemned to hell as there is absolutely no place for them to smoke a quick fag. Beer is available in gas stations..Wow.

12 cans for 7.99 is quite cheap …..

Re: U.S.A

Dude, you can go to california anytime you want, just dont expect me to treat you to any retaurant any night. Partially it is because I dont take guys out to restaurants, secondly it is because I dont live in California.

Freeloader, if you are staying with ppl and saving on hotel charges, you can atleast take them out for a decent meal or two anyways.

Re: U.S.A

hot dogs are just that
they are made of dogs

its one of the reasons why they are so cheap AND if you look carefully you'll find no stray dogs on the streets!

Re: U.S.A

P.s. Pakora

I reckon everything seems cheap because you dont earn your money

get yourself a job and then come back and tell us how cheap everything is
