The country where the electric switch flips “On” on the opposite side , where kids know more about diabetes/routers and networks than any adult I have met , where the temperature scale starts from 32, where everyone commutes by cars (massive SUV’s) rather then buses or subways. Where coca cola or Pepsi can be refilled multiple times without extra charge, a country that gives a whole new meaning to the term “cold weather”, a country where you can adopt a highway, where you can put up an invisible fence to keep the dog inside the yard, where alcohol is only sold in liquor stores (at least in Minnesota), where eating out means :- eating out at a burger joint, where crisps are called chips and chips are called fries, where the TV is not that interesting, and going out dressed up does not have the highest priority …yes! That’s USA.
I am enjoying every moment of it ..
More later…

what kinda cheap ass people are you staying with who only eat out at burger joints. Having spent a few months in Minneapolis for a project, I know that the place has some very good restarurants.
comments seem to be your host specific in addition to being minneapolis specific.
