hey mercenary the question who was likely to use nuclear weapons.....only one country has ever used nuclear weapons in war and only one country has developed the most sophisticated nuclear weapons in the world and only one country has the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world

I disagree. I know of posts here that have made me look at, examine, and explore subjects than I wouldn't have otherwise. Some posts have shown me different viewpoints and caused me to look at stories from different angles. Someone I disagree with can still teach me things and often do.

Hopefully through the debating and through the bickering you can come out with something you did not know, see something in a different way. I'm here for me, not for you.

USA used nuclear weapons and rightly so to end World War II.

USA developed Nukes in July 1945 and used them to end WWII.

If Germany, Russia or Japan had made nuclear weapons, don't you think they would have used them agaisnt their enemies?

USA used Nukes to end the most bloody and brutal war in history which cost the lives of 62 million people.

When Russia took over Berlin in vicious street fighting, there alone, 300,000 Russians, 320,000 Germans Troops and civilians died along with 17,000 Berliners dying each day for 10 days after the war ended in Europe.

It would cost nearly 10 million Japanese deaths and 1 Million American deaths to defeat Japan in an invasion. Weigh that against 300,000 that were killed to end World War II.

USA has the 2nd largest arsenal of Nuclear Weapons after Russia.

Please get over this USA nuking Japan and thus making it the most evil country in the world and a hypocrite.

Lets see if Pakistan or any other country was in USA's place, it would not have done the same?

Israel has attacked a nation in past on "pre-emptive" basis and has threatened in past as well as in this particular instance. Now you can go in corner and cry :p

If Israel can have nuclear weapons without any pressure from international community, why cannot Iran? Where was the hue and cry over Israel's nuclear capability from folks like you? Now that Iran wants to develop this technology to keep it from bcoming next Iraq, you guys are jumping up and down for sanctions and death to their president.

Iran might have said many times that it's going to attack Israel but have they ever done it????
USA on the other hand attacked Afghanistan and then Iraq (Even though lot of people were against this attack including many western countries), they are now giving clear indications that Iran will be the next target, they have Nuclear weapons and they have used it in the past, now what's the problem if Iran acquires such weapons to defend itself????

Iran should build these weapons to keep the Americans away from their country, Americans are waging a totally unlawful war on Iran and they have every right to defend themselves. I am not saying that they should blow off Israel or USA but they should keep these weapons to discourage any American offence.

All efforts should be made to stop anyone from acquiring nuclear weapons, be it Iran or Israel. The U.S. should work with other major powers to eliminate their own stockpiles. These things are simply not good for world.
