The problem with this whole thing is that the more coverage this issue gets in the media (even negative coverage), the more desi votes are going to come in. He needs to get voted out sooner than later otherwise the whole season is going to suck big time!!!

Its already end of the show for me. I deleted the scheduled event from my DVR tonight. Tonight's episode was boring. I miss Kathy Mcfee.

I dont know who is voting him. Most Indians did not like his performance. Maybe him being youngest getting him votes.

No one is more surprised than Sanjaya himself that he keeps going on to the next rounds. And so the torture continues... poor guy!

Sanjaya is turning out to the big story about this season's AI. Hardly anyone is talking about who is gonna win. All ppl talk about is, how/when will Sanjaya finally get kicked out. Of the remaining candidates, he got the least votes in the last round. Is he coming to the end of the rope (Rope of Desi Support)?

Yep..I think with fewere candidate to divide votes, Desi just wont have enought vote to keep Sanjaya in. :D
But surprisingly, I have not seen any chain email to vote for Sanjaya.

I dont think Indians would vote in large numbers for Sanjaya.

-- I dont think American Idol is very popular among Indians.
-- They dont connect to the songs sung in American Idol.

Any way Sanjaya Malakar is the most searched on Yahoo among all American Idols.-- According to Yahoo and Google

He better go this week. or ask Idol for a 24 hr bouncer around him; the other contestants may end up wanting to harm him. so ppl should be good to him and not vote.

I think they are keeping him because they like live catoon shows, which is quite unusual cuz all the fun drama is over once they go to hollywood. This year American Idol is keeping its flag up in finding the next idol as well as the next Simpsons Apu for the nation.

He is more of a cartoon character that judges and radio talk show hosts are throwing their dirt on, than a good singer.

The guy is out of tune, look so girlish/childish, and doesn't even know why is he there. If desis are voting for him, they should stop cuz the angrazi media is just making too much fun of the poor indian guy on the public television. besides he is never gonna make it to the finale. American Idol is for mentally mature ppl and not for a child who just babbles and do monkey dancing on the stage.

Last night performance was an idiotic as usual, don't know why Randy and always so sweet Paula liked it.

Oh BTW i want Gina to get lost as well.

Theres showing it in the Uk on friday. I think every1s shocked at how bad sanjaya is. But even more bizarre is the fact that hes still in.
