This Shoaib Malik controversy is proving to be a Lahore-Karachi duel. This episode will not and should not end just here. Listed are my thoughts:

  1. Malik will be barred from playing cricket for a specified time period...ICC rules
  2. Match fixing allegations must be investigated. How can you believe a guy who willingly throws a match? How do we know what is the real motive?
  3. Was the Lahore cricketing administration in anyways involved?
  4. Were the sponsors worried when they realized no Lahore, means no more public support?
  5. Why did the disciplinary committee deliver their conclusion without consulting Karachi Manager/Captain?
  6. Did Lahore do a La'Lahore?
  7. How was Karachi Zebra's to be blamed for the stupidity of Sialkot?
  8. Is a penalty of Rs10,000 sufficent for Malik's horrendous mistake?
  9. Who constituted the disciplinary committee? And, what rules were they following in declaring Lahore Eagles the victor?
  10. WHERE IS RASHID LATEEF?
