respects women and love kids.

what’s up with men and loving kids…are you all implying that men love kids less than women do??? :hoonh:

^ That reminds me, i saw this father at a mall couple weeks ago, with two young daughters (around 10 or 11 years old, both of them). One of them was fussing and crying so much, she wouldn't stop whining and fussing about something. She wanted to buy something i guess, and she wouldn't stop screaming about it. i looked at the father, wondering what he would do. He knelt down on his knees to her level, and looked straight at her in the eyes, and then gave her a hug. man! That was really something... i thought by the amount of noise she was making, he would have lost his temper or something, or scolded her in a stern voice. But no. All he did was give her a big hug. That is what i would call good parenting. sigh He was like 6 feet something, and to see him get down on his knees just to hug his daughter, when other fathers might have lost their temper --- i don't know why, okay so this sounds extremely dorky, but i thought it was really special.

ahem yes it sounds dorky, but what the heck - stuff like that is really special i think.

^:hehe: cool

yes, men can be good parents and be very good with children too, you know  I think there are more male pediatricians than female as well.

And also we all got the example of MJ! How much he loves kids :hehe:

oye don't make fun of MJ :p i don't think he actually did any of that. i am not certain, but i don't think so.

:) Anyways, yeah - some guys can be very good with children. And some women can be awful. So it works both ways.

^^

see see see!!! this is exactly what i mean :smack2:

trust men [read NESCIO] to turn such a sweet observation into comedy :hoonh:

Nadia lets together beat him with this → :bailan:

oh Shinoo i forgot to mention…apart from a personality replica of my dad, some guy who could be the male equivalent of one of my best friends from college, she’s a GS member too but doesnt come here nemore, 3arabeeya, i think that would be ideal…we have been roommates for almost 3 yrs n v get along so well n i have so much luv for her its like shes the sister i never had n i think if she had a male equivalent that would be the most ideal person for me in the world

^seee irem, now we're getting somewhere.

From "I can't think of any" to "that would be the most ideal person for me in the world"

Good going :p

Someone who can sometimes know what I am feeling/thinking without me having to say a word. And someone who knows me better than I think he knows me.

Just a question when you women look for these qualities in a man, do you look for perfection in the above areas? No i am not gonna go on one of many anti-feminist rants.

Nah CM. If it's there, then it's an added bonus. For myself, it is more how the two of us get along.

exactly.

If its there its an added bonus? You do know that there is no such thing as perfection? No guy can be perfect at everything you require in him.....

Of course CM ... I'm not perfect so I wouldn't expect my man to be perfect either. When I said it's an added bonus, I just meant that if it is there, that would be fantastic, but if it isn't, then it's no biggie. These aren't the top qualities you initially look for when you meet somebody. What we really look for is that dreaded word ..... chemistry!
