LOL. Are you sure about that? Glucose isn’t even digested in the stomach - its just transported. And the glycemic index is based on glucose itself. The dates have to be digested (broken into glucose as well), so I don’t think it can have a higher rate of digestion than glucose alone. Also, remember the GI is based on how quickly blood/sugar is raised and this isn’t necessarily synonymous to the rate of digestion.
