I always loved chemistry, especially for chemical mischiefs. Mixing and spoiling those chemicals and reagents whose chemical reaction is slow and not visible and thus make a cocktail of everything that was kept in lab...trouble for new students, lab assistants as well as the teacher I didn't like. Was however never caught :D .

One trick.
Take a fusion test tube. Insert a matchstick with its head pointing and touching its bottom. Position it at 45 degrees and away from you. Light another matchstick and heat the test tube bottom for a few seconds.

*The one inside catches fire, gases expand rapidly and out come the matchstick like a missile. Use a cluster of tubes and you have a miniature missile launcher ready.:D *

I am speechless! you are one intelligent woman and you don't deserve THAT. infact no ne deserves that. IMO he feels inferior around you and thats why he is avoiding you.
Solution to this situation, you know it youself and deep down you are in denial. Give yourself some time to think over, if he can't be around you, then he has no right to be WITH you. I know it sounds cruel, but I dun see any future for a person who is affraid of your personality and intellect.

i have a strong feeling that he is himself upset at his behavior, a little hurt, a lot confused and that inshallah he will realize.

but, then, without feeling needy, he and I both know enough about each other, that we meant well - it is very rough hurdle that got created.
