Re: Tujhey hum wali samajh-tey
Apparently, no matter how much i like Ghalib’s poetry but It never sounds in sync with vocals. I mean Ghalib’s ghazals are classics, out of this world, very romantic and poetic but i have never heard any singer who sings them and it has jelled with the melody. It always sound out of sync. 
In contrast, Whenever someone sings Faiz, be it Noor Jahan, Iqbal bano, Nayara noor or Tina Saani… It sounds so melodiously beautiful. It sounds like if that poem was penned down for this purpose that some one would make an extraordinary melody
