SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Mehsud circle, in a pamphlet distributed in South Waziristan on Monday, gave a final warning to residents to evacuate the area, in view of an ongoing war in the Fata agency.
According to the pamphlet distributed by the militants in the Mehsud territory of South Waziristan on Monday, it appealed to all residents of South Waziristan to vacate the agency owing to the war. A general amnesty was also extended to all persons leaving the area.
It added that no NGO or any NGO contractors were allowed to operate in the area. Rather it termed them as legitimate targets. Included in this list were employees associated with educational activities, health, and members of the Khasadar force (volunteer force). The handout said that these people, if caught working will be treated as criminals.
The militant group also warned that house owners, and others who had helped members of the Mehsud tribe live in or settle in Waziristan, had committed a crime.
The notice also carried a warning for those operating transportation enterprises. The handout said these people were committing an “unpardonable crime”.

1- All the people are warned and appealed that they should vacate the Sourth Waziristan area as there is a war going on here.
2- We have not permitted any NGO or any contractor of any NGO nor we ever allow such people; they all are our targets.
3- We declare general amnesty to all the people who leave the area.
4- All the employees associated with education and health and NGOs and the khasadar force will be treated as criminals.
5- The signatory malkan and those who have sent Mehsud people to live in Waziristan, and those who invite them and who help them and assist them in settling here are also committing the crime.

these evil creatures are calling innocent civilians criminals and for them its completly okay to kill any Pakistani who takes a stand against them, or even if they just dont hold the same extremist ignorant views as them.Things are getting out of control, these monsters are trying to take over our land fully, why cant the army launch an operation against them? Just like they did in various other parts of Pakistan and those operations were successful in forcing them out of there, so why not in Wazirastan?

This is what i call psychological war. TTP is using this tactic to achieve their goals in S. Waziristan. In anyway, they will be eliminated in no time.

Good question. Ya see i do not the ground reality of that particular region which they have sent flyers to. TTP is not operating there as terrorist group..rather they have isolated people who are working for them. Khair..this is psychological war. Mehsud tribesmen will fight these terrorists as well.

I sugessted before too eliminate them terminate them as Sri Lanka did with Tamil tigers. No mercy for them, better people evacuate and then pond the region with carpet bombing use nepam as well. Finish this headache forever.

^ there's a difference between Pakistan and Srilanka, while the latter was an island, they could be surrounded and eliminated. The problem that Pakistan has is that if they carry out operations the terrorists just cross the border into Afghanistan (Eastern parts) and then return afterwards.

A bit different than Sri Lanka situation for a few reasons:
The military that is supposed to do the carpet bombing has soft corner for some of the factions.
The terrain is very very different from the terrain in Sri Lanka. It took them 25 years as well though.

A few years ago when the operations in South Waziristan was carried out carpet bombings took place, and a few months ago the air chief was taking pride that PAF has conducted 5500 bombing runs in FATA. Before carrying out the operations the army has to give the locals some time to go to safe areas which can be used by the militants to disperse as well. And just across the borders we have got terrorist sanctuaries which are more easily accessible for these groups as compared to other areas within Pakistan. Besides when Pakistan started operations in FATA, Americans vacated their bases in Eastern Afghanistan so as to provide the fleeing terrorists a safe haven.

It is alarming to see that these terrorists are trying to take over the region, while our nations remain tangled in their differences. The need to overcome our differences becomes obvious when we find these terrorists fully focused on destabilizing the region. Our failure to tackle this threat could only result in more chaos and damage to the region. Terrorist organizations like the TTP have already taken thousands of innocent lives while wasting no opportunity to target our forces. There is simply no doubt that they stand in our way of bringing peace and stability to the region. This latest threat once again proves that they are actively pursuing their evil agenda in the region. We must stand united against these terrorists that pose a real threat to the region. We must not let our differences deter us from achieving our ultimate goal of defeating terrorism. We must find a way to move forward, and combine our strength to eliminate this threat that continues to haunt the region.

you are right, even if our army forces them out, they will cross over to the border and and return after a while, Americans are really not intersted in taking an action against the militants in those areas. When they accuse us for giving safe havens to terrorist, Why does our govt/army stays silent, they should bring this matter to light and ask US why this hesitation in taking an action against militants in in Kunar and Nuristan province?

I know that Hanibal, but I want our leadership and army to tell them loud and clear that these double games will no longer work. Everytime, they accuse us for giving safe havens to haqqani waqqani networks, we should stand up, expose their lies and tell the world about US double games and how they are using these miltants against Pakistan, and making it look like Pakistan is the bad guy here.
I think we are just really bad advocates, we cant stand up for ourselves :(

TTP is nothing but a covert wing of CIA, which has been trained and funded to wreak havoc in Pakistan and bring a bad impression to the name of Islam. The best way to judge the aims of an organization is by analyzing that which religion/area/community it has damaged and which ones has it advantaged. In the light of this, TTP has damaged Pakistan, Islam and muslims in general, but has served the CIA interests in the region.

If there are sanctuaries across the border, they why can't a non-NATO ally use panetta's language that went something like we can't let our troops be harmed by insurgents from across the border?

Our failure to see the truth only offers these terrorists encouragement to further their dark and evil agenda. Conspiracy theories have been misleading people since the beginning of WOT. We must take the responsibility of separating facts from fiction. No two other nations have sacrificed as much in the WOT. And no other two nations could understand each other’s sacrifices more. TTP have openly warned the Pakistani government for siding with the U.S. in WOT. TTP continues to warn the Pakistani government for allying with the U.S. and wants to see Pakistan break all ties with the U.S. They’ve openly claimed responsibility for targeting our convoys in the past. And they will not waste an opportunity to target our interests again. The bottom line is that they view our nations as a common threat that is preventing them from achieving their evil agenda. It’s our common stance against terrorism that brought us together in the first place, and continues to bind us together despite all the obstacles and challenges. Those who continue to give importance to conspiracy theories should know that our failure to acknowledge the obvious culprits could only result in more chaos and mayhem in the region. We must find a way to pull ourselves out of the web of conspiracies, and work together to eliminate the elements that are preventing us from bringing peace and stability to the region.
