@sonipari. Don't worry, IA, you will get pregnant and think there are people for whom even IVF is not an option. My own friend is not an IVF candidate. Its good news that there is no waiting list for the IVF too! Look at the bright side. Please go ahead and have the surgery. I know you will be brave! I have had surgeries too. First one at 16. They put you out. You won't know a thing! IA. Hugs!! Good luck , at least now you are on the right path.

InshaAllah I hope I do .. getting my tube removed has really scared me though .. the dr scared me even more by saying if anything goes wrong ectopic etc we may have to remove the other tube aswell .. after hearing that I’m so worried .. I’m grate that I’ve been offered IVF but I’m really scared of it all

@sonipari. The chances of ectopic pregnancy go up if you have had one before. But the chances are not very high! IA, you will be fine.

Hi all,
I bend some advice regarding IUI. I had two IUI's and both failed unfortunately. I have one more attempt left, and if I don't conceive there then my doctor will most likely recommend IVF.
I'm of the mind to wait on my last attempt until I lose weight as I've read that losing weight will help in fertility. I am overweight but not obese. I talked to my doctor and he said that losing weight should help but it's not guarantee that you will be able to conceive then either.
My husband has left the decision up to me. I'm thinking of waiting 2 months and then starting my last IUI trial in November. If I don't conceive by December, at least I'll know that we're going to do IVF in the new year.
Please if anyone has experience with this, please reply. Discussing this with anyone else is very taboo, no one I know has gone through this or if they have they don't talk about it.
I'm trying to stay positive, but it doesn't help that everyone u know us having a kid or on their second one. Also when my sister in law congratulates me on becoming a phuppo ( my bhabi is also pregnant) and then says I'm dying to know when I'll Become a phuppo since it's been so long since you've been married. It's going to be one of those days :-(

Natasha90 losing weight does help hugely. We are thinking of starting trying again and the first thing I am trying to do is lose weight. I think it will help with your ivf too

@Hmmna-yeah that's what I decided. I'm on the low amylose diet so I've given up most carbs like roti and chawal. I hope it works! I'll have to lose weight either way for IVF so I should start right now I guess

Hey everyone, hope you've all had a lovely Eid .. update with me:
this week I went to hospital for my appointment on tuesday .. I met with the dr who will be doing my laparoscopy .. my appointment is on 23rd of october for the operation .. I'm soooooooooooooo scared .. the dr just went through everything saying she's going to divide the tube or something .. might have to remove it .. she also said if she thinks my other tube doesn't look good she will also take that out .. since she said that I'm soooooo scared :( .. I can't stop thinking about it ...
on friday I went to meet the nurse to go through the pre operation stuff .. I'm soooo freaked out so scared .. I don't know how I'm going get through this month I'm sooo scared .. I keep thinking about the laparoscopy and whats going to happen to me :(
please please everyone keep me in your duas

Sonipari! Best of luck to you! Don't be scared. Every thing is done under anesthesia so you won't feel a thing! I am praying that you will tell us the good news soon, IA! Be thankful that you got an early appointment and that two tries are free where you live. IA all will be well.

Hey Everyone .. my operation laproscopy is on Friday .. pleeeeeeease everyone keep me in your duas ... I need them sooo much ... I'm sooooo scared this week has been awful .. I've cried everyday :(
my main worry is the dr taking out my other tube aswell leaving me with no tubes at all .. I'm just praying and praying that my other tube doesn't get touched at all and that it's ok .. I'll be devastated is they take both tubes out ..
I'm absolutely freaked out about the operation aswell!! I haven't slept this week at all because I can't stop thinking about it all :( ... please everyone remember me in your duas

Just a brief update..
I'm on my third round of clomid and this time around there going to give me extra progesterone as my both IUI before had low progesterone levels. I've also lost 10-15lbs and hope to lose mid. Please everyone keep me in your duas

Just a brief update..
I am getting inseminated on Friday and will have to take progestrone suppositories for 2 weeks and take a blood test to see if Im pregnant. I hope, hope this time works. Please keep me in your duas.
