Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

I am not ttc. But praying for you guys. I know PCOS is common these days. Did you ask for IVF with ICIS, if it was right for you? You should go for that. Three years on medicine is too long. They should try IUI a few times and maybe IVF, depends on your case . How old are you and your husband ?

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

I think to increase chances of conceiving as Clomid increase fertility.

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

@emaan87 ... i had a failed cycle on metmorfin and another failed cycle on femara/letrozole .. metmorfin gave me horrible muscular cramps i could not tolerate the pain so quit taking the 1500mg tablets per day.
anyhow, diet maintenance for pcos patient is v difficult (i think )

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year now. I really thought I was pregnant this time because I was almost 2 months late but I got my period today. I have had my FSH, TSH, Prolactin, etc levels tested and they are all normal. However, my periods are still irregular. Sometimes they come on time, every 30 days and sometimes I have 50 days between periods. Every time I talk to my doctor she tells me to reduce my weight but I am careful with what I eat and exercise 5-6 days a week but I still gain weight. I dont know what to do as I feel no doctor is really listening. I want to conceive before Im 30 (Im 29 right now) and Im concerned about husband as well as he will be 39 this year. Does anyone have thoughts, tips, advice etc?

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Hey Ladies .. hope you're all well InshaAllah ...

I went for a scan today .. it's my day 14 .. they wanted to check the follicle or something .. the nurse said I have 2 good ones on my left side .. I dont think I have anything on my right side .. I'm sooooo upset as my left tube is blocked :( ... only my right tube is working .. I got really upset there .. she said don't worry theres always next month .. but I already feel defeated this month .. this is my 5th month on clomid but 1st month on 100mg .. she also said sometimes the other tube can pull it that way .. I don't know :( ... It's going to be my last month on clomid next month should I wait a month then take the clomid? the nurse did say that they take turns so if they are at the left side maybe next month they'll be at the right side .. I don't know what to do

This is soooo hard I'm trying to keep strong but It's hard ... this brave face act is getting harder day by day seriously :(

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Sonipari did you have an HSG before starting clomid?

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Don't worry, my mom conceived me with one tube. IA you will have a baby too.

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

HSG is the dye test right? yeah I did .. that's how I found out I have a blocked tube :(

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Thankyou I hope so .. InshaAllah :)

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

Should I take the clomid next month? Which will be my 6th and last month? Or should I wait?

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

you better consult it with your doctor
even my dr. said to me that after taking fertility medicines for some months, our inner system gets better so there is no harm even if we do not take those medicines for some time and want to try on our own. in thi case even without taking medicines one can conceive

Re: Trying to Conceive (The highs and lows)

i got to know about using oil as lubricant , it may start sticking to walls of vagina and start gathering germs :bummer:. well i shared it for those girls who also use any oil
