Re: Triple Talaq valid?
The prophet reported to have said; “Whoever innovates anything in this matter of ours (i.e., Islam), that is not part of it will have it rejected.” ***(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 2697; al-Fath, 5/355). ***And the prophet is reported to have said; “…Beware of matters newly begun, for every matter newly begun is innovation, every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in hell.”
**And since it is a Bidah to pronounce triple talaq in one sitting, one can not argue that triple talaq would be counted as divorcing the women three times. If we count the same so, it would mean we are giving validity for a Bidah act which is wrong. Simple.
