Trick o' Treat anyone??

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

The kids who came to my house were not neighbours kids. Never seen them before. and we're in groups of 4-5 without adults. All looked under 10.

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

I'm simply saying: Eid : pray. Eat. Sleep. Bored.

Halloween: ( wtf is that) fun fun fun. Costumes gifts fun fun fun fun

Oh and slutty outfits for the adults. Think Pakistanis have mistaken Halloween for open to all sex night.

Re: Trick o’ Treat anyone??

If people are only Eid: pray. eat. sleep. bored as you put it, what does that have to do with Halloween? :konfused: And if those same people choose to whoop it up on Halloween then the onus is on them, again what does that have to do Halloween? Your analogy/comparison makes no sense whatsoever.

Hate the player, not the game. :chai:

. Dang, and I am stuck in this big pind called U.S.A.:(

Oh, and astaghfarullah.

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

Looks like the global slowdown is coming to an end. The turnout this year was high. And toward the end, had to ration the candies.

But don't pull the buy chain - market is within 1.3 pct of all time high. And yes, this is the S&P Index.

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

No I think it was still way too low as compared to last year, atleast in my area. I checked with my colleagues at work as well and they were pretty much saying the same thing.
As a result there was abundance of candies in office :D

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

It's too bad that Eid is so boring for you.
Most of the families that I know look forward to both Eids because of all the activities that are planned for that day. And yes, I mean the kids.
We have games, prizes and all sorts of fun things for our kids to do.
Don't you do that?

As for Halloween.....my daughter now feels a bit too old to go out Trick or Treating but when she was little we did take her out. And no...she was never gone with just a group of kids, there was always an adult family member with her. On the years that she didn't want to go out she, and all of us, would dress up and hand out candy. One year my BIL even hid behind one of our trees and scared the older kids that came by; was a load of fun.

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

time to move back to Pakistan coz here all I get is candies that kids dont want to eat :(

Re: Trick o' Treat anyone??

With the Fed printing money, our data indicate things are picking up. We remain puzzled at the slowdown in your area. Possibly the employers over there are in industries not benefited by low interest rates..

Irregardless, we remain cautious of the markets. And submit that market directions shoukd not be confused with the economy. Rather, we take contrarian positions at opportune times.

Re: Trick o’ Treat anyone??

At least you don’t steal all of their candy, unlike the parents in the following video who claim to have. Poor kids!

Re: Trick o’ Treat anyone??

You know that the parents are joking with their kids in this video, right?

Re: Trick o’ Treat anyone??

Oh … been there, done that too.

Re: Trick o’ Treat anyone??

Nothing much, though people did show up to work in costumes.
