are going on there

especially clothes for wedding functions

Kameez as high can you get with long chaaks or whatever the hell they are called, Square at the bottom ....show as much skin as you can and you will be fine.

I am sorry but just like the low cut jeans, chicas need to understand that not every style looks good on everyone.
that oonchi qameez and capri shalwaars...I recently saw some lady where it just looked odd, colours were too bright, the shalwaar needed to be more streamlined, too much ghair with a short qameez just looks ridiculous. and please please do not wear this stuff if you have a few extra pounds.
lastly, for all the money ladies spend on shoes and sandals, i see more chicas completely screw this up than not. an airy sandal with laces wrapping around your ankle and calf and all look kinda nice with this, but for gods sake, no qaianchi chappal..makes you look like you pulled your shalwaar up to do poccha, its the maasi look. some champions decide to wear pumps with it, and oh god that looks horrible, its like wearing doc martens with a miniskirt, most can not pull it off..if you are not goth and/or not a teen dont try it.
leave it to desis to run after a fad without even doing that properly.

And when the patiala shalwars came, the chunkiest women were wearing em… again, biiggggggggg no-no.

Its not Capri Shalwars for goodness sake…its capri pants…and no…not mid calf..more till above the ankles…like the ankle chinos from gap(then again those can be capris if u r tall:cb:…
Anyway the longer chak ones r with high waisted pants/capris etc…let me find a pic…
But u know…personally go for styles that suit u ..Your body type/height/taste etc…not just follow the trends crazily..Thats just me…
For weddings it really depends on what style u like…Do u like traditional/modern or a bit of noth.A hottest trend nowadays r traditional colors but in modern cuts…(traditional colors like hot pink and saffron yellow etc)… Again u can opt for watever your personal taste is..that usually always works in the long run.
