hey i got eyes and all, I am in a creative field kinda. I like fashion, been an avid egular reader of GQ since I was 14. architectural digest.

so i see..and man desis just simpy dont know how to dress, guys or girls.

and no, the kurta bra thing is a fact, as recently as a few weeks ago I saw someone with a white shirt and dark bra. I think that is a statement and is not thetype of state of oblivion desi ladies demonstrate when they insist to wear white bras under black tops..

and lets not forget about desi fobs and their wife beater shirts under think material shirts..

maybe open a diff thread on common desi stye faux pas..although some make you wonder

tan pants black atheletic socks, and multi coloured running shoes…i mean in cases like that i duno what was intended…etc.

keeping alive the " common desi stye faux pas" statement i think i need to mention here desi guys in U.S ( both indian & pakistani) who were often seen wearing " much obvious white sneakers" with dress pants , -or- with jeans and dress shirt :grumpy:

and overweight ( yeah exactly) middle aged women wering tight fitted dress , with plunging necline , too deep to bear -or- those with tummy literally hanging out of their sari blouses , here & there

The backless kameez isnt that bad IMO, but I doubt few if any can pull it off...

Oh and those aunties with the sheer kameezes without a shameez displaying their cha-cha's for the world to see, not cute. AT ALL.

like a backless sari blouse, i’d say. i find people end up being so risque with their sari blouses in terms of neckline- front and back, and also blouse length, but those same people wouldn’t replicate that in a shalwar kameez. what gives?
