• having said what I said above, before we reach the hotel, we stop by at a local supermarket and pick a case of water, some fruits, snacks, paper plates, paper towel roll and a can of air freshener. This is not an expense, but a huge convenience and money saver, especially if you’re staying in that hotel for more than two nights.

Awesome..tip. I always did this..whenever i went to states for period of 2 weeks or so. Mostly work trips..i used to exactly same. Rented car at airport…go to wall greens and pick up stuff..and chill at hotel.

I will be going to Florida, Chicago, NY and New Zealand soon for business trip insha’Allah. Really looking forward to it. But that is exactly insha’allah what i am going to do. Stop at grocery grab some stuff and then chill.
