Nobody is creating confusion other than you.

If we are fighting Taliban , it does not mean rest of terrorists should be let off, the criminals should roam freely. Rather this is exactly the time to send a message to all terrorists that stop screwing around. Thats exactly what US did, IRA was declared a terrorist organisation by US after 9/11.

MQM is not equally toxic now, but it has all the potential to become one.

BTW you are acting just like Taliban apologist way of arguing, acknowledge all the crime committed by MQM or Balochs, yet coming out with a BUT factor, to trivialize, dodge, and oppose any action against them.

Anyway, all i am saying that I am afraid, adding political crimes into this list will open a Pandora box that will immediately compromise the unity and consensus that we need to fright against the war on terrorism. These military courts shd be focused on investigating suicide bombs, terrorism activities (Peshawar school, attacks on buildings etc) and sectarian violence but once you start bringing political parties and related activities and crimes into this list it will be a **** show.

War on terrorism requires complete unity whereas politically motivated crimes or issues will have different voices and opinions (as is the case in any country or society..you will never have complete unity)and you don’t want army to be dragged into it and therefore political crimes should be dealt in civilian courts.

that is all. both of us have stated our viewpoints and i feel like we are going in circles ( at least I am)…appreciate the input.
