To Iconoclast’s comments, every group is guilty of ethnic-crime. If you think the Punjabis are innocent, they’re not, they’ve created a number of policies that favor their own people in positions of power. Many people have left Pakistan because they’re not related to some Punjabi superman powerhouse family, and because they’re not Punjabi and provinces aren’t getting their share of the resources they need to develop. This is a fact. Every other group is guilty of ethnic discimination too. You see this clearly in Karachi where although it’s a “melting” pot in a way, there are individual ghettos of the different communities TO THIS DAY. And if you’re not from a community, good luck making it in an piece of land in Karachi run by another ethnicity. Pathans and Urdu speaker are fighting each other in Karachi. Sindhis treat everyone like ****. Balochis don’t wanna have anything to do with Pakistan anymore.

It’s not just the MQM. Their policies have been bloody but as you can see, there is a demand on Altaf’s head, that’s why he can’t return to Pakistan. Minute he steps in here, they’re going to book him and throw him in prison.

Can we say the same for the maulvis? They’re sitting stone’s throw away from Islamabad, and talking treason and no one dares arrest them, and put them thru a trial. Comon man, the first and fore-most problem is terrorism, and cutting their funding.

And again I say that there are probably some powerful dogs protecting these guys, otherwise, if this was 1960’s, they’d have been tossed into some dark dingy prison to rot.

Show me how many people have Punjabis killed in other provinces? One third of urdu speakers live in Punjab, show me how many have been killed?
