A decent bowling performance minus Wasim and Shoaib. Sami was very economical :k:
what do u mean south africa A? this isnt their full team?
Saleem Elahi out on first ball he faced, now he is showing his true class......
Rain has stopped play.

yep its A side NOT the national side!
Yup…if he got out ont he first ball against the A side of South Africa…I wonder how he will fare against the much better seniour South African Side

Well it doesnt get worst than this. So he will definitly do as good as this one ,not worst.
Not to my surprise our phenomenon future world cup openers choking in the bouncy wickets! Sorry I was always critical of taufiq and especially Saleem Elahi. Well lets see what they do in the ODIs against SA. I hope they prove me wrong.
trying out new players in Zimb at the expense of Saeed wasnt a good idea. Anyone would have perfomred greatly against them. Now the eyes are on Taufiq and Saleem which I serioulsy doubt they gonna succeed in SA.
salim elahi sucksssssssss!!
told uuu this guy is just sh!TTT....we need anwar backk...if he had played against zimb he could have scored 2 100's as well!!
this guy cant play! worthlesss!!!
anwar is soo soo much better! i dont know wot u guyz r thinking!

Faisal scored 59 and that too on a bouncier and a wicket with heavy moisture after the Rain. Unfortuantely got run out! , Hope he gets selected in the side and score some runs!

yahoo, Pakistan won!
Pakistan wins by 3 wickets with 2 balls to spare.
158/7 in 29 Overs
well played Faisal, Rashid and Inzimam
they got Pakistan home..
pretty interesting in the end..
But seriously Elahi and Taufeeq both got ducks in thier 2 tour innings so far. Waqar and Pybus got to think of something! Faisal Iqbal should open replacing either one of them.
Target was slightly tougher coz of rain and wicket must have boucne and moisture to help bowing side.
Its good that Inzamam and Rashid got us home..otherwise it would have been soo emabrassing that the Pakistani side lost to the South African Juniour Side! Lets hope for a much better performence against South Africa on 8th December!:biggthumb
well i dont think they are juniors side!
10 of them are current Int’l players!!
‘second string’ side is a good word..
anyways! Best of luck on dec the 8th :k:
I am no fan of Elahi, but all the guys pointing fingers at him should look at Taufeeq's and Afridi's score as well.
Let's not jump to conclusion based on one match.

well ehsan bhai its 2 matches and both openers have got ducks... khair lets see what happens on 8th
plus the thing with Afridi is that he can cover up his batting failure with his bowling and vice versa !

i understand what you are saying and i totally agree with you. Taufeeq is no good either but what my point is that saeed must be included in the team how could they ignore this guy. atleast he wasnt scoring ducks. u go check his stats he did score 20+ on most occasions and when it was right time to get his confidence back they didnt let him against zimb!
idiots wanted to try out new players. holly do that when world cup is done. saeed and others r not gonna stay for longer. probably after world cup they r gone and then u will have rest of ur life grooming new players and trying them out.
i just dont understand the reason behind droping saeed!

Well said Rehaan, PCB should have included Saaed for the Zimbabve tour to get his confidence back....now if the current openers keep playing the way they are...then Pakistan is in big trouble for the World Cup ahead, and after the South African tour, Pakistan is playing no matches, so no time to give Saaed much match practise. All in all, a very stupid decision by PCB on not selecting Saaed Anwar...and now they are the paying the price for it!
