As far as players going to night clubs is concerned that is non of our buisiness. Just tell me one thing if the match was fixed than why would Wasim Akram delebrately bowl 9 wide ball i mean it will arouse suspicion he could have just bowled badly and had done what he did by bowling wide balls. Whenever Wasim does not ball well there are two opinions
1 he fixed the match
2 he is not happy with the captain.
Just tell is it not possible for him to have his bad days he is not a robot who will perform to his perfect best all the time. All that is there about match-fixing has no proof and no one can punish even a killer without proof.
One of the reasons why our team do so basly is because we don't except our faults andf never try and correct them we always believe that we loose mostly due to fixing and what we don't accept is that our team is not that great and we need to improve it. I know it would not change your opinion it might make you mad though but i don't care amid so many voices against players its my right to give my opinion afterall we live in a free country.
As for Asif Mujtaba he does not deserve a place in the team.
One more thing as far as my information goes it is Pakistan's first sports web site and is not official. And even if it is to bhi us ney sirf hawa mein teer chalaian hey. If it would have been an official web site it would never have written something like this just like PTV can't say that the match was fixed. A person writes something without proof and all of you people are out there to believe it any ways its your choice as we live in a free country.
Just admit it fantastic.....they are match fixers.....if they can drink and have hangovers then its as good as match fixing....by the way in syednay herald there was a interview of a guy who reckoned akram is is his friend and has been taking money to fix game. he said he could have a face to face with him if it could be arranged.

I have a story to tell you once in my college my friend told me that Wasim Akram's brother studies in the same college where her brother studies and Wasim's brother has told my brother that Wasim fix matches this happened aabout two years ago. As far as my correct information goes Wasim has only two brothers both are elder than him. I showed Wasim's interview to my fried she was not ready to believe even than that Wasim does not have a younger brother. In circumstances like this how can I believe you ab bolo.

fantastic1, give us one example of any one country which has performed the way pakistan does, thru out the whole history of cricket.
these are the players who have played international cricket for years and years on...and yet when supposedly "its not their day", they play like two years olds.
current crop of pakistani players are indisciplined, extremely non-pro and insensitive to what harm they cause to their country by their actions.
May be there is no other team that has played like this but the Pakistan team has always been like this through out its history its not just the present team that is consistent but all our teams in the past were the same as well even the great Imran's team. Go and check the records and one of the reasons is that the players don't recieve proper mental training after coming into the side and their background and problems they have faced during their brought up stay on with them

Did you read the Qayumm report just Qayum had stated that the police find no evidence that the kidnapping of Wasim's father had anything to do with his involvement in fixing his brother was never kidnapped.

Wasim was never cleared by Qayyum. First of all, the entire report conducted as well as the PCB`S internal inquiry has still not been released. Secondly, the fine for Wasim stated that he was "not entirely above board". The same inquiry fined Saeed Anwar and Moin Khan etc but not for any evidence of match fixing, rather, for not fully cooperating with the judge. Wasim was SPECIFICALLY stated to have been fined and the PCB was warned about him as the Judge felt he may be involved in fixing games.
Personally, here's my two cents worth. I believe that there is, and was, enough proof against Akram when the report came out. I also believe that the report is still being withheld because the PCB is still embarassed that the national Captain at the time had been found guilty of fixing games. Thats the reason why Akram was removed from the captaincy. Give it another 6 months, and then the report should come out, and I think Wasim will be in deep ****. As far as having a 'bad day' goes - isent Akram supposedly one of the best bowlers in the world..with over 400 wickets in each version of the game?Having an off day is fine but there's a BIG difference b/w not bowling well, which can be attributed to an off day, and bowling pathetically, which may be attributed to match fixing. Ask Pathan Bhai or Surdar Bhai etc - no bowler can go for good to pathetic within 48 hrs..not even a first class bowler, let alone one of the best bowlers in the world.
I dont mind us losing. But, god - I DONT want us to lose because a bunch of satebaz cheap a$$ sell outs have decided to betray the country and the millions who support them.
Simple as that. Wasim is not above board. And thats a shame but there are very few who believe he`s 100% clean.
Btw, the clubs etc have little to do with this. In the 80's, even during Imran's days, he himself along with the other playboys Mohsin Khan, Ramiz Raja, Muddasar Nazar etc used to be seen in night clubs all the time. Nobody cared because no one in that team or any of its members were sell outs. People arent stupid, sooner or later, they'll catch on to whats going on. And Wasim and Co are really stupid if they think they will get away with selling the country out.

Whether Wasim Akram is a fixer or whatever he was and is my favorite, simply because he has won more matches for us than any so called clean player even in the 90's. If PCB did not release the whole report than its not my fault nor I care. I have seen many a great bowlers do what wasim did in the 4th match, any one can be best one day and pathetic the next. About his extras i am sorry but thats the way he has been trained, Imran always told him never care about extras concentrate on getting wickets this can at times be harmful for your ownself. Still he proveided Pakistan with an early break through even in the 4th match only Azhar dropped the catch now that is his fault also. Whether he is hanged or banned from cricket i would still like him because personally i have heard so much from people about match-fixing and all that proved incorrect. Good bye and have a nice time.

Chaos is the order of the day in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) which has turned into Peak Confusion Bureau. No one knows where is the chairman of selectors who goes on walk for several hours. PCB chairman, who takes decisions on his own, is in Choor for military exercises and member advisory council Ramiz Raja, second most powerful man at PCB, has told a journalist that off-spinner Arshad Khan is leaving for NZ on Wednesday.
"Arshad is going because of Saqlain Mushtaq's lackluster performance," Raja is quoted as saying.
I think its a good move because Saqlain considers himself to be untouchable and only performes when he wants to or when hes playing for Surreyt. Arshad may be not be as talented, but he`s a good, steady and hard working bowler. Thats all one can ask for. Although, I would have preferred to see thr young Shoaib Malik fly out. Shoaib is abit of an allrounder these days, in the last match for PIA he scored 70-80 odd and took 7 wickets in an innings. Great stuff. But still, its a good move as is the decision to send Younis Khan over. He should have been there in the first place. He played very well throughout the domestic season as well as making the best out of his limited opportunities for Pakistan. He'll do well. I dont see why they sent Humayun Farhat over though. As long as Moin is Captain, you cant expect Humayun to play! Just one dumb move though - no Mohd Wasim. The selectors dont seem to like him very much for whatever reason. Anyway, the match should start in a few hrs - lets see what happens in this game. Im hoping Saeed gets some runs. We need him to perform in the tests because he is the main batsman. As fir the bowling, if Shoaib is gonna play, then I hope they finally drop Younis.
