Looking at the map and the time we have and with 2 kids I think we can either go from Toronto to Quebec city, montreal or 1000 Islands. Any recommendations between these 2 options ?

1000 island would be better option for kids while Quebec City is for adults to appreciate French Culture, architecture and cuisine. Good Luck...Bon Voyage! how old are the kids?
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
Thanks
2 Kids, 3 yr old and 11 month old.
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
with kids that small I would not recommend 1000 Islands at all.....they will not understand the natural beauty.
Montreal is not made for kids either unless yours' are interested in viewing architecture.
you are better off to stick to Toronto and perhaps visit Centre Island and Centreville......small and peaceful.....nothing spectacular but the little ones will have a blast.
you should also consider the Royal Ontario Museum and the Ontario Science Center
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
you can also buy citypass
Official Toronto CityPASS® | 5 Toronto Attractions for $58.40

Can they be visited in a day?
We might be in Toronto for just a day with a 2 yo and I was trying to look online what we can do.Any other suggestions?
Also any recommendations for nice halal places to eat, preferably non-desi?

You can definitely do Centre Island/Centreville in one day. Absolutely!
If the weather is good then I would choose Centre Island over the others. The young ones absolutely love it! They have rides that are suitable for the younger person and it is green all over. There is a small zoo and a train that the whole family can ride and tour the entire island. When my daughter was younger we used to go every single year.......she's 9 now and still gets excited at the mention of it.
There are a few halal places that are non-desi but I'm not the expert there.....I'll let someone else answer that for you.
Affies or Kara Mia for steak/italian food
Royal Jasmine or Salt 'N Pepper for hakka
Paramount or Pamier or Bamiyan for middle eastern cuisine
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
^
Popeyes and Hero Burger for fast food...
Hakka Chineese Garden (overlea blvd/thorncliffe)
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
Thanks.
I was checking it out online and it does look like something my daughter will really like.
If we want to see the CN tower and Casa Loma too in that one day,is it feasible? If not,we wont go to Casa Loma (we have kinds similar stuff here where we live too).
Re: Toronto - what to see and do
