When going to arabic restaurants make sure to ask them if their food is **zabeehah. **When desis say halal it by default means its halal AND zabeehah.
When arabs use the word halal, it does not necessarily mean that its zabeehah too.
halal: a permitted animal
zabeehah: a permitted animal slaughtered in the proper way
