When going to arabic restaurants make sure to ask them if their food is **zabeehah. **When desis say halal it by default means its halal AND zabeehah.

When arabs use the word halal, it does not necessarily mean that its zabeehah too.

halal: a permitted animal
zabeehah: a permitted animal slaughtered in the proper way

Theres an arabic place in the plaza on the corner of Winston Churchill and Dundas called **Something To Talk About. **They have nice steak i head. Its not really formal formal setting.

Zaffron.. It's on Yonge street between Finch and Steeles...closer to Steeles...opp. Popeys...persian food...and it's GOOOOOOOOOOD!.... very classy!
