Just wanted to add another venue on the list…
THE VUE!!!

It’s an excellent (unique) & brand new venue in Mississauga…infact, I’ll be getting married there (InshAllah)

I was orginally going to go with Waterstone in Newmarket - but later on found out that there were too many hidden costs & the coordinator was very unorganized & somewhat rude ..which I chose to overlook on many occassions because the I loved the venue so much. However, its very important to love the venue AND the on-site coordinator! Bad customer service during the initial stages of booking the venue is only indicative of what kind of service everyone will receive on the day of the wedding

you’re so right! i planned my bff’s wedding at the brantford golf and country club, and the coordinator there was one of the rudest, most unflexible people i’ve ever met. she had no hesitation in making unreasonable last minute demands and being openly hostile about our plans just because they weren’t “typical” of her other clientele, and went out of the way it seemed, to make our experience there difficult. it just adds unnecessary stress to the wedding!

i’m sorry the coordinator was terrible and you won’t be getting married at Waterstone because you seemed to really love it, but i’m really happy you’ve found another kick ass venue with better people to work with!
