what a storm! never seen anything like this in my life.. i cud barely see the car infront of ours. traffic was slow.. car were skidding..
the pictures reminds me of monsoon season back in khi.. flooded roads n all.
I was on the 41st floor of our office downtown and we had a clear view of the whole thing. It was quite scary, all those lightening bolts, the sky turning pitch black, the whole building was shaking and felt like it was swaying.
I was drenched on the way home, despite having an umbrella. Oh well!
haha, no, it would have been Bollywoodish if I was wearing my white saree and had two back up dancers behind me chum chummying in the bharysh. Maybe next time.
I was in a coach coming back from a business trip to Belleville. It took 1.5 hours to get from Belleville to Scarborough.... and then 3 hours to get from Scarborough to Sheppard and Leslie. The traffic was evil.
At Sheppard and Leslie, with no end to the traffic jam in sight, we all gave up on the coach and just took the TTC subway back to the office.
I had just returned home purchasing mithai and samosas. Anyway, luckily made it home just in time, alhamdulillah. Btw... there was no tornado in GTA and its vicinity. There was only a tornado warning in effect.
Driving abba back home from his dentist appointment. Took me 3 hours to get back when it normally would have taken only half an hour! Had to turn back many times because many intersections were flooded and cars were stuck. My foot hurts from all the braking. Good night!
On campus(Downtown Toronto-St.George) had a group meeting. Was just making my way back to catch the subway and saw the darkest clouds I have ever seen.Sure enough it started to get windy,my head nearly came off.So I ran.
Got home, saw the proceedings from my 27th storey balcony, exhilarating stuff.
Did this happen on Friday? My flight from Islamabad to Toronto landed at Pearson without any delays and then i slept from 4 pm to 4 am and didn't notice a single rain drop outside.
