Godddd... what a storm that was... i was driving back to home from work and i was unable to see the car infront of me so i stopped somewhere to take a break..

laizy, it wasnt just 'lil rain' it was lot of rain.. DVP ( a valley) is still flooded! people had to be rescued.. basements were filled with water, trees fallin on the houses.. it was pretty bad!

the problem was that all the trafic lights were out and there were lot of accidents.

other then that, it was ok, i had to stay at work late to shut down all the systems.

ive just learned that there was quite a flood I thought it was a lttle bad weather, strange thing is that I never heard about it in the uk news

i wonder why.... do they not care about you canadians?

You know, I’m really disappointed. Back in Britain, they knew how to handle rain. You hardly ever got flooded roads, building, etc.

The worst part about Canada is that they haven’t managed to invent a power grid that DOESN’T have outages!!!

In 15 years of living in London, I experienced 2 power outages, that’s it. Here, I’ve experienced 4 in just my first 7 months.

I was safe in our office building and away from windows so all I could really see was a lot of DARK!!!
