Re: Brownback supports Pace's remark on gays
Gen Pace expressed his personal opinion in a newspaper interview. He is not making public policy on this issue. I think he said that he supports the current "don't ask don't tell" policy. And you are all over him for expressing his opinion. Now who is intolerant here?
I never said he couldn't or shouldn't express his opinion, just as I am free to define the acts of the US military immoral. Funny how someone leading the most powerful army on earth that kills almost indiscriminately singles out homosexuality as immoral. I'm sure Jesus is so impressed with his moral leadership of the armed forces.

There is more to being homosexual than engaging in public homosexual sex. It involves having a partner and living arrangements, benefits, friends, dating, socializing, expressing yourself, etc, etc. Keeping all those things secret and pretending to be someone your not is being someone else. Unless you can tell me how a homosexual brings his life partner with him to the Officer's Club or to the BX to buy a commitment ring w/o 'telling'.
And no, it's not working.*
