Top leaders of Pakistan

My top three leaders of Pakistan.

Strong inspirational leaders, and broad minded tolerant Muslims who will be forever remembered by the people of Pakistan. All were born Shia’s as well, but that is not the point.

Quaid-e-Azam, Mohammed Ali Jinnah

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Mushi is Shia??
Are you sure about Bhutto being a Shia?

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

I did not know authoritarianism, megalomania, bankrupting the country, efficiency in the art of stealing and political assassinations as well as breaking the country in two were some of the criterion for this list……

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

I’d love to answer taht lol..but it’s hard knowing which one you are talking about

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Great choice!! Master, Bhutto was a Shia, but that doesnt matter like Reza said.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

it's not to nice to call someone shia unless you have proof to back it up I'm talking about musharaf saab here

I will agree with you to some extent on the great leaders part until number one after that you lost me

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Well..all 3 of them had many flaws..Bhutto had many qualities and as many flaws..but he did change Pakistan forever by his actions..

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Zakk, please explain the flaws that Jinnah had.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Quaid-e-Azam
Allama Mohammad Iqbal (I know he was not a leader but i Admire him too much)
Pervez Musharraf

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Busharraf is not Shia and he is not a leader either.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

So what if he was a shia. I am sure you know that Quaid-i-Azam was a shia??? As far as being a leader is concerned, I dont mind you saying anything since you need to come back to present times right now you must be having so much fun with Aladin in middle ages.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

I did not say he was a Shia, but rather born (into) a Shia family. Like Quaid-e-Azam I think we would call him a lapsed Shia Muslim, and someone who does notdefine himself by any sect. That aside I believe that these three leaders stand out as one’s who have or had a defined vision for Pakistan, unlike all the others who have ruled the country.

President Musharraf and the People’s Party should make a deal, and then implement the vision of a tolerant and progressive Pakistan with extra vigour.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

First of all Shia or no shia doesnot make a difference. Secondly saint Musharraf may be but dictator is always a dictator. What I know is George Washington left the presidency during his lifetime to let a system establish. I dont see that happeneing. Same ppl aroung bibi, baba, ganja and now Musharraff so whats the difference, we still have Mukhtar mais, and Dr … I forgot her name the one from Sui. Injustice prevails. Nepotism abd Croniism rules. Yep he helps keeping the mullahs abay but at what cost?

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

well.. to me it looks like pakistan is kind of sand castle for these leaders of ours.
one played with it.. broke it into two.
the other one came and with fatwa from washington declared jihad on USSR and everybody was like going to afghanistan, and lots of madrassah's set up to 'educate' ppl for jihad.
and now we have the greatest of All (who have arrived on the scene so far) turning it all around..the 'aitadaa-pasand', 'roshan khayal' s**** and its the ppl of pakistan who suffer all the time.. nobody thinks abt them.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

hahahahahahahahahahah…u really meant people’s party;)…group of extremely corrupt leaders…wadiras of sindh r their backbones and we all know abt the great character of wadiras…oh bhai PPP is nothing but a group who tries best to satisfy theiir god fathers in america..sorry, i totally disagree to u

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Jinnah was an autocrat Spock, he dismissed the provincial governments and sent the Army into Baluchistan..while it is understandable why he did that..also the whole Kashmir issue would have been handled better if he hadn’t relied on certain individuals..

Guy1: Again factually incorrect..the biggest land lords ..are in the Mush government

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Reza,
Musharraf is probably the worst leader after Zia for Pakistani shias:

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Master brother you should be careful to believe what Hindu’s write about any Pakistani leader. I believe the likes of SAAG has previously reported that Iran was arming the Wahabi freaks of the Taliban, and that the late Air Chief Mushaf Ali Mir, who was Shia was supporting them as well.

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Is he really…Zia is the same guy who refused Saudi demands to remove any shias from the Army contigent deputed to the Kingdom…

Maybe he was the worst for all the Islam-hating, secularist degenerates…

Re: Top leaders of Pakistan

Bhattu in particular…
