Re: Today we are all Pakistan indiawithpakistan
Diwana it may mean nothing to you but for people who have human hearts and appreciate gestures beyond boundaries it means something. For you everyone is the same but not everyone believes that. I have many Pakistani friends who do not. My friend was affected in the Peshawar tragedy and she liked my pictures of this solidarity. If you don’t like it don’t have to see these pictures or videos. Not all threads are there to please everyone.
She said prayers can have healing effect and seeing all people worldwide praying for Peshawar victims has that effect. Why don’t you go to all those international media outlets and ask them to stop publishing such stories. If such articles exist and such events exist such threads will also exist. If you don’t like the flooding on the thread you can make your own thread and flood it with negative online messages you can dig up in the media. You can use that to post other fake vigils from other countries/other fake moments of silence/fake prayers for victims/blood donation drives from countries world over from all continents-middle east, africa, asia.
All the world newspapers and Pakistani newspapers showing this are wrong and only you are right. Maybe in your mind.
I don’t recall making any political points while posting any pictures or vigils or articles.
I don’t think this is indian media

Indian Red Cross Society launches blood donation drive for Peshawar victims Last Updated On 22 December,2014 About 0 seconds from now
People from all walks of life participated in the blood donation drive in New Delhi.
New Delhi (Web Desk)—In solidarity with victims of Peshawar school attack, a blood donation drive was organized by Aman ki Asha, Aghaaz-e-Dosti and Gandhi Global Family at Indian Red Cross Society head quarters at New Delhi on Saturday.
As many as 30 persons turned up to provide blood for the cause. Organizers told that it is a way to express their solidarity with victims of Peshawar brutal attack. The event was organized with the objective to extend help across the border and demonstrate solidarity with the victims. Through this gesture, the organizers conveyed their message of peace, tolerance and humanity.
People from all walks of life participated in the blood donation drive and many among them were first time donors who registered their solidarity.
“All I want to say is that I am overwhelmed by the response of the common man in both countries. Indians opened their hearts and cried along with the Pakistanis while the Pakistanis welcomed it. For some time, it did not look like we were sworn enemies that we have been for long. It was like estranged branches of a joint family united by grief” said Samir Gupta, an IT professional and Aman ki Asha peace activist based in Ghaziabad.
Ravi Nitesh of Mission Bhartiyam said on this occassion “There is a need to register the solidarity with people of Pakistan, as it was an attack upon humanity through which we all are associated regardless of region, religion or any other identity.”
Devika Mittal, freelance writer and convener of Aaghaz-e-Dosti India remarked “We are hopeful that through this blood donation drive, we will contribute somewhere in sphere of humanity, to let people understand the importance of being together and being humane.
During this hour of grief in the wake of Peshawar attack, people from India have shown their immense support, love and solidarity for the victims of Peshawar attack by holding candlelight vigils, special prayers and condolence references.
Earlier, schools across India observed a two-minute silence and held special prayers to pay tribute to the victims of Peshawar school attack on Tuesday this week.
Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi had appealed to hold a two-minute silence as a mark of solidarity with Peshawar school children killed in a terrorist attack after his phone conversation with Pakistan Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif.
Moreover, Indian Parliamentarians also paid homage to innocent Pakistani children in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Twitter which is usually flooded by exchange of accusations and provocative comments between Indians and Pakistanis was inundated by expressions of grief and solidarity from Indians as they used the hashtag indiawithpakistan](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=IndiawithPakistan) to convey their deepest condolences over the death of students in Peshawar.

Guys..lets not kill the spirit of this otherwise beautiful thread.
Diwana jee, you have already nuked the thread.
Appreciate if we can get back to the topic which was to show solidarity of common indian people towards Peshawar tragedy. thx
Thanks Phoenixdesi. I agree let's not kill the spirit of the thread. I am already fearing for my Pakistani Santa thread where the intentions of the Santas were questioned. :)
My response is more articles/pics in spirit of the original thread.
I hope no one takes the bait here.
Re: Today we are all Pakistan indiawithpakistan
There is also the worldwide ceremonies/vigils thread and my Pakistani Santas thread. Aaj ke din at least let’s not let the spirit of this thread be taken over ![]()

No idea why you said I'nuked' the thread.
Only brought the counter argument just like in any other thread counter argument is all fine and dandy, it should be here.
Are you saying people should ALWAYS agree with what the theme of a thread is?
Really?

**I am active at twitter, FB, and over half a dozen urdu and english pakistani newspapers and let me reiterate that we pakistani people are deeply appreciative of all the solidarity that indian people showed towards Peshawar tragedy.
I am a big fan of freedom of expression as long as it is done in a civilized manner...so i am fine with posts so far. Opposing viewpoints have been expressed and some point scoring has been done....fine but like i said before, lets get back to core of this beautiful thread. Anymore irrelevant or political posts will be deleted. I dont want to convert this beautiful thread into a war room. many thx**
Re: Today we are all Pakistan indiawithpakistan
Nahi yeh hijacking successful nahi hogi. Momentum of thread will continue.
I think i’ve posted a lot..so i will post a final few pictures and if some people want to continue to hijack it then they can. Main message has been conveyed. You can’t make everyone in world like you or your intentions.

What spirit?
Fake slogan of Aman Ki Aasha/Friendship/solidarity… when Indians have been hell bent on killing Pakistani Army personnels and Pakistan’s Father of the Nation since 1948?
All of sudden they feel ‘pain’ for Pakistani Army children?
LK Adwani was charged for plotting Jinnah’s aassassination
Re: Today we are all Pakistan indiawithpakistan
Thanks PD. I was just responding to how worldwide these vigils and other vigils from US, Canada, UK are covered. Just because someone is born in a geographical area called India doesn’t make them less human. I’m not going to respond to any comments which are baiting because I want to uphold the spirit with which you wrote this comment. I appreciate your sentiments and i am also active on social media and i noticed lot of people across the border appreciating the positive sentiments including my many friends. On other side we also appreciated the twitter #PakistanWithIndiaNotoLakhvi](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=PakistanWithIndiaNotoLakhvi) bail in response. Maybe some people think it is political because politicians are also involved and encouraged it..but this just spreads the message wider of holding prayers/vigils it doesn’t take away from the fact that many non-political or ordinary people/children participated.
I think it’s fine for people to express different views but like you said it would be nice if this thread was kept free of political issues of which there are many threads. As long as the OP, the vigils and the messages in the vigils are not political then the thread shouldn’t be.
Thanks for upholding the spirit of this thread, SID_NY’s thread on worldwide vigils and the Pakistani Santas thread.

From goodname’s earlier post

Nope.
Prove it that it was from Pakistanis killing Indians (civilians or army members).
