Prove it that it was from Pakistanis killing Indians (civilians or army members).

We will see if this is the beginning of a new dawn or not, but as things stand today there's lot of skepticism amongst people for the motives of the other due to the (not so flash) history between the two countries.

Are not you?Yaar Brother Diwana… Children know no boundary and when children are harmed,the feelings are same irrespective of caste,creed,society,religion and national boundaries.Can you imagine how many Indian mothers have cried for those innocent victims of Peshawar carnage?

I was talking about those so called ‘Pakistanis’ who sing song of Aman Ki Bhasha while Pakistan keeps being damaged by Indians, just like Nero is known to keep playing flute while Rome was burning.

How am I using this sad moment for my benefit when number of newspapers have reported these vigils from India and abroad? I did not start this thread. How is Mumbai or any of the past history relevant to people empathising with victims and their emotions. Are you next planning to attack US foreign policy on SID_Ny's thread about worldwide vigils? Next you will say my thread on Pakistani Santas is making light of situation or people holding that march are making light of situation. How do I benefit by posting pictures which shows other people expressing sadness?
You have not answered why widespread worldwide vigils were not held till this event for past event-either within Pakistan or abroad like in West?
I have also asked plenty of questions to you in response to your comments which you can also answer.
I am not going to assume responsibility for all of India-Pakistan's history including time when I was not born and neither would I expect a Pakistani to. This is about individual Indians holding vigils for individual Pakistanis.
Why should I read your posts on this thread when you have shown only negativity towards these vigils? If you want to discuss these issues you can always make new threads which I am sure will get lot of responses.

You do realise there are people on both sides who are part of these civilian initiatives. No one forces another to be part of it. And yes lot of Indians have Pakistani friends either abroad or online and there is nothing wrong with them showing support and compassion. If you have non-Pakistan non-Indian friends you would expect them to do the same.

There is skeptism among some segments for sure but not all. Others see each other as individuals and not representatives of each other's history, politics, governments and military.
There is no reason why Mumbai or Kashmir have to be part of this thread discussion.

I still don't know what wrong I did. By bringing attention to articles/pictures/vigils/moments of silence on number of media including Pakistani sites. People can look at these pictures and make their own minds up about the people in them without involving politics. I didn't see anyone mention Mumbai, Kashmir or anything in their signs or vigils.
It's not like our world is perfect. 75 people got killed in Assam by militants in north east. I don't get why a human being cannot show compassion and empathy through candlelight vigils/prayers or whatever. I have Pakistani friends who appreciated these pictures. Some directly affected. For those who didn't you don't have to view the pictures on this thread. No one is forcing anyone to see these pictures if the sight is so ghastly.
I am really deriving lot of benefit from spending time posting pictures online. Right? That makes sense.

Thanks Arli. Yuo mentioned some good things when you said the cricket team should go and play in Peshawar. How is it my fault what sporting boards decide to do. Reading this thread and the comments did have some benefit. It made me appreciate the positive people on this forum from both sides. Not only on forum but also online and in real life. I also have a better idea of some of the struggles, suspicion and obstacles liberal minded/conservative minded Pakistanis face when they appreciate/like anything remotely Indian. The true friendship i share with them is not something that people who generalise/stereotype about entire nationalities can understand. It makes me proud of my friends and people like Jibran who don’t feel the need to generalise/stereotype people.
I also got some of the pictures from Jibran’s page as well… Brave people with convictions who can publicly voice them.
Express tribune and dawn news plus dunya tv must be part of the propaganda for showing this as well. Making light of this situation.
Now these children need to shoulder the burden of discussions/politics/fights they were never part of. Lot of countries have past historical tension-Japan/US, North/SOuth Korea, France/UK does that mean citizens of those countries can never get along.

Why do his views have to revolve around politics and events like Mumbai? He can have views independent of that.
I can't remember Ali saying that his support for India/Indians has any meanings or saying that he supports in the way you are meaning for it to sound.
Pasha Uncle has already stated that his political views on Kashmir are not related to vigils.
Not sure why are you are taking these vigils out of proportion. There's plenty of other threads where you can offer your constructive opinion on political matters.
That is all I am saying regarding this on this non-political thread.
