To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

nice idea...however wrong thead :p

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

You’re right, but no girl wants her reputation trashed, noone wants to be considered the “slut” for having a boyfriend or watever.. can u blame em for savin their own behinds  And ALSO! maybe they really DO consider him a fiance , they do have the intention to marry him but are still studying or watever.. i know ppl whose parents know but the engagement isn’t “official”..

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

I dont see why you have to put a ring on infront of a thousand people to be considered engaged. If being in love with someone makes you a slut then i am one, a proud one for that matter for being lucky enough to find that special someone.

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

That’s harsh. An engagement is a commitment between two families, a boyfriend is not. and Angeleyes, you obviously do care. Always in other people’s business

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

hardly…i nvr said anything about anyone. just posted my personal opinion on the matter. afterall this is a forum and that is what people do. besides why are u getting ur chaddies in a twist?

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

haha dont think you have any influence whatsoever on my chaddies

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

our parents have talked…and its final we’re getting married. nikah is gonna be done very soon. ive never ever been “out” with him…so hes not a bf

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

exactly who cares?

and Naughty by Nature....you didnt have to open a whole thread for me...you couldve told me by PM.

hes not my bf because we have never done anything physical....all we've ever done is talked and both our families know about us....all his relatives know about me. we're 100% sure that we'll get married.....we would get married right now if we could....but circumstances are such that we have to wait for a month or 2 for the nikah

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

:k:

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

phew...good to know :)

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

Impulse don't feel like you have to justify yourself to people...

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

NAUGHTY BY NATURE - ITS VERY RUDE OF YOU TO MAKE AN ASSUMPTION ABOUT ME WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING THE FACTS....I HOPE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER TO ALLAH FOR THAT. ACCUSING SOMEONE OF SOMETHING THEY HAVE NEVER DONE IS A MAJOR SIN.

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

thats true :) Allah knows what my relationship is....i dont have to justify to anyone else :)

Only a jealous person who do something so stupid to open a thread based on lies.

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

ze takus notas people, it's to you lot she is referring to.

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

impulse....as long as ur happy... the hell with what people have to say.

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

ur right :)

people are never happy for someone else happiness.

so what if he's my bf or fiance....at least his mine.

for example if i say a certain person is "not dumb, they are stupid".....it means the same thing!

if bf means someone i love, care about, will get married to, have had no physical/haram relationship with BEFORE marriage, parents know about us and have agreed to our marriage, .....then fine I do have a bf:)

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

I once had a girl-friend, i just thought i'd share that with you all for no apparent reason.

Re: To those who are engaged...stop sugarcoating things...

impulse yaar choro :~)

naughty could not find better topic to start a thread... Remember girl you never need to justify yourself to anyone :~)...

As long as your intentions are right and you know what you are talking about its all good :~)

People have this notion in their head Hijaban's suppose to be all goody goody. We arent suppose to talk loud. we arent s uppose to raise our hands in class, we arent suppose to pursue career over marriage, we suppose to go either in education or medical field, we are not suppose to talk to guys, we are not suppose to listen to music, we are not suppose to do this we are not suppose to that. just because we wear hijab.

Hijab is my imaan you leave that between me and Allah. Worry about your own dirty laundry people ;) leave us alone...

impulse i will be first to admit... i go against everything what they expect i know my limits and my boundries i will never cross my limits i know Allah is watching. :~)

I wear hijab, listen to music, talk to friends who are guys, we do hang out as well, my parents know i have friends and fun thing i did my concentration on business. i get a kick out of it because dont expect to see me in this field and my attitude... see if i give a crap :D

so impulse dont care... you never have to give answers to anyone Except Allah :~)

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

Nia -you’re advice is always really good -ive noticed from other threads too:k: unlike some **other **people who get upset at other peoples happiness and would do anything to see them upset…you’re a really nice person
you’re really mature and decent girl masha-allah and I wish you all the best in life cuz you deserve it

Re: To those who are engaged…stop sugarcoating things…

 so what about people who have boyfriend/girlfireind and have NO sex with them due to religious belief??

i thought the only difference btw friend and boyfriend (western standards) is that their are feelings of love towards a boyfriend, not towards a friend, and also an intent to live together (get married) and have children
