Whether you’d like to believe it or not…there are crimes being committed against humanity by people who not only claim to be Muslim but use Islam to justify those crimes. That is the reason why threads like yours exist…the need to say who’s a Muslim and who’s not.
Re: being a Muslim. Islam is a justice system…meaning within this very religion you will find rules that punish Muslims who commit crimes. Not every crime makes someone a non-Muslim.
Re: being a Pakistani. Not all Pakistanis are Muslims. And within every country you will find different schools of thought in reference to a multitude of topics. Not all of their opinions will jive with yours or even be found agreeable to all. What does that mean? They should be shot? Hung? Silenced?
If someone is ashamed of being Pakistani, let them be. Tolerate it because that is the one thing missing in Pakistanis: tolerance for differences.
Do you think everyone that lives in the US is proud to be an American? No. We have all kinds of people who live here yet hate the people here…what should their punishment be?
