People use the “we” term, because they are culturally related to those committing atrocities. They might even comprehend, and once upon a time, condone such atrocities.

I see Pakistani mobs burning religious minorities, and I fully comprehend the thought process behind it. I know people who would condone the thought process, but condemn the actions. (When in reality you can not have one without the other)

Its only natural to use the we term. Doesnt mean there is any self-hatred involved.

About cultural relation let’s have show of hands:

How many Pakistanis have any cultural relation to ISIS, Boko Haram, Talibans, enough to call them ‘their own’?

In regards to Talibans, only KPK or related area people may have some cultural similarity. What about other large majority of Pakistanis?

What do you comprehend and thought process which will make you join the people who burn religious minorities and say they are YOUR people?
