My only concern here is why we ignore to see our internal problems. May be external factors contributes 80%, but why denial for 20%.

I’m a layman, my observation is limited to what I see around me. I see around me people using masjid’s loud speaker to spread hatred. I see walls around me full of crap slogans. I see people around me talking of differences and conveniently ignoring similarities between different groups. I have seen guns in the hands of those to whom I went for learning Quran. These are enough proof that there is problem somewhere in people who live among us (not that there are no external factors). So, when I see someone badmouthing our country our religion, I feel that these people around us also have a contribution to that.

Rest assured, that people on these forums have lot of positive things to share about the country and religion and its not that we always talk about dark sides, but when the topic is about dark sides, some people don’t consider it their religious duty to defend what bad is happening around us.
